Sorry about the question, be no means I wish to disrespect the moderators, or deny the right of Paradox to set the rules of it's own forums, but I am curious about the reason interactive aars are treated in a different way to other types.

Did you have any problems with them in the past, or some country specific legal intellectual property laws are the problem, or is it because of any other reason?

Again, I just ask this because I am curious, and I don't want to start any campaign to get the said rule changed.

If you consider my question to be improper, I really did not mean it to be so, so in such case I would be quite grateful if you locked the thread and took no further action against my account, and in return I promise that I won't re post any other similar inquiry. Thanks :)

I'm not Paradox Staff, but I was around before they were locked and I think it's because they're spammy and hell to police and manage. I know this because I GM them over on another forum. Trying to keep order and uphold forum rules is hell in one where the GM doesn't act proactively to assist the mods, and even in cases where they do.

Again, just my 2 cents. I'm not staff :p

Interactive AARs are dealt differently in the community due to higher rates of spam and off-topic posts. Interactive AARs typically have a higher volume of readers hence needing more moderating. In the past, as Lighthearter has said, we've had many difficulties in keeping interactive AARs to the point and in the style the author originally intended. Because of this, any interactive AAR must have permission from the moderators to be started.

If you have any more questions for us, just send one of us a PM from now on instead of posting a new thread (just a friendly suggestion.) Since your curiosity has been answered, this thread is now locked.
