I play King England and my wife, Duchess of Brunswick (not my court), is imprisoned by the Holy Roman Emperor. How can i free them ? Thanks.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
They free them selves via events, or the Emperor may release them. I do not think you can release them yourself.
You should be able to pay ransom for anybody. That would give you a good opinion boost too.

Perhaps the best to do, if you don't have any kids, is kill or divorce her, so you free your ruler for a new marriage. :ninja:
