Hello everyone, at top i made whole USA starting fleet ( with 226 ships ) fight 10 Japanese CLs and 20 DDs, and i noticed that positoning value is extremely high, asked myself what sort of magic is this , afterwards i moved my mouse cursor to the 100% positoning value of USA , and noticed that this stacks additively, and not multiplicatively, meaning if you use an admiral with 4 positioning, or an admiral with 3 positioning and superior tactician trait, you will never ever get positioning debuffs from having a doomstack-- large fleet.

Lets discuss if it would be better for gameplay, if calculations were changed so that you cant get away with having doomstacks-large fleets if you have an admiral with high positioning.

i would suggest that maximum debuff from larget fleet is increased to 70% , and +positoning per admiral postioning is reduced to 10% from 25% if calculations will not be made multiplicative.

IN sp human player can doomstack(if have enough ships ) and kill AI fleets easily,
In mp human player doomstacks because his enemy will also doomstack

Edit= Apperantly this is a bug, so we can continue discussing
superior tactician giving 25% positioning,

or other things like minimum positioning debuff for a fleet with no admiral being -50%

The value is in common/unit_leader/00_maneuvering_skills. I have no idea how they missed a bug so obvious and so easy to fix.

yep interesting how this passed considering high amount of admirals with positoning of 3

another thing is superior tactician being such good op trait giving 25% positioning it feels like they were testing diffrent values but forgot to change everything, right now admirals with it have like minimum positoning of 85% with 4 positoning+ tactician trait

good thing all is moddable

-50% is pretty low cap for the larger fleet, it should probably be able to reach 0% positioning from having the larger fleet and the penalty should maybe be larger.
