As far as I can think about it right now, the ways of cheating in EU1 are, in (IMHO) increasing "gravity of the sin" order:
1) Modifying slightly the scripts (i.e. to give some colonists to a minor nation).
2) Reloading after a really distasteful random event (i.e. halved tech investments or -3 stability).
3) Modifying heavily the scripts (i.e. to give your nation immortal king and leaders, with "super" statistics).
4) Reloading sometimes for heavy reasons (i.e. seeing your war campaing in going nowhere, to try to "rewind" and prepare it better).
5) Reloading really often (i.e. after every damned battle that goes wrong).
6) Using cheat codes.
(Maybe or probably I forgot something. Any adding is welcome!)
I do confess my sins and admit I sometimes sinned of sins 2) and 4) in my first games, but I am now amending my ways and "trying"
to avoid cheating.
But the real question I wanted to ask to you people is: any of these are YOUR "cheating sins" too? And how often do you happen to sin?
