For those of you not familiar with Andrews excellent EU2 bug reporting forum I will be trying to use the same procedures. So the following status checks will be applied to all posts:
moved : post was not a bug report
no comment : status of bug report undetermined
WaD : working as designed. You may still not like it but Paradox meant it to work like that.
BUG : reported to Paradox
FIXED IN 1.01 : already fixed in 1.01. Please upgrade
FIXED IN 1.02 : Paradox have indicated it will be fixed in 1.02
moved : post was not a bug report
