I find it disturbing how few voters there are this quarter. We're about 30 down on the same time last quarter. I don't know why. Where is everybody who usually votes? I put a notice in my AAR last night to get people to vote but its not working. How can we move the masses?

Good question , Swert ! I wonder perhaps if what anon used to do with the sub-fora notices might help ? I'll send a message to phargle requesting him to ask the mods about it . Either than that , authors should let more of their readers know through links etc (even those who don't like to ask for votes can help out by simply telling people it exists) . Mr. Swert , it might also be interesting not just to compare from last season but get figures on the Quarter 3 season last year and compare . Maybe it's a seasonal thing ?

I think i've discovered the reason. It's to do with the Rome release. Last quarter was the first time you could vote for Rome and so we saw record levels of voting. This quarter though, the hype has gone and we are seeing voting along the same lines as before the Rome release. A similar thing happened when EU3 came out. However this is far more drastic.

This is the first ACA that I have been actively participating in, so I don't know the normal levels of voting or whatnot. I just hope that those who are enjoying the wonderful narratives and gameplay produced by the AARthurs here take the time to make their voices known.

Support like that is ambrosia to the writers that put so much effort into the work they produce.

The fact that there hasn't been a new AAR started in a month in Rome is a bit more disturbing, and probably EU3 didn't have that much of a drop off. Pity, hopefully VV will rectify the problem.
