1441 Apr. 10 God damned Hungarians arrive in Bujak and steal my siege w/ MYSELF!!!! (Janos Hunyadi) w/ 30k. We march to Dobrudja but will take a sh*t kicking in attrit. *#&%& Hungarians!...of course they're besieging Bulgaria so THAT's good.

1441 Aug. 6 Those BASTARDS! Hungary lifts siege of Bujak and ponces off west for no reason. Tempted to DOW them myself!!!

1442 May 2. - Janos up to his old tricks. What? Has he got something better to do with those 12k men! We NEED Bulgaria raised.

1442 Sept. 21 - RE: "Diplomatic Move" w/ Ottomans dip +75 !!!? WHAT!!!?

I thought I'd applaud State Machine for starting it...but how come only 4 votes? What a killer!

I'd just like to say how much I enjoy reading everyone's material. Some are a little more my cup of tea, but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the vast majority of what I've seen here, and I also think that every author goes through continual growth as they develop their own style and comfort level, their writing improves, or you just find it growing on you...etc.

I also would like to thank everyone who puts their 2 ducats' worth in on a thread...to, in a friendly way, coach each writer by providing positive feedback to successes and helpful, non-critical feedback to the less successful ones. That says worlds about this "community" of creative artists.

Keep it coming, everyone, and remember to encourage those fledgeling writers too since you have to have guts to post here at all. In my case I'm just so pig-headed that I'll plunge on anyway, regardless; but others might feel too intimidated by a lack of initial response so remember to drop a word or two of encouragement in their threads too.

Speaking of spam, I'm seeing an awful lot of threads with MrT as last poster... Looking for a custom moniker?

The voting thread started off as one vote per person, but was refit to allow 4. Perhaps it's not enough (I could easily place ten votes) but you have to draw the line somewhere.

One thing I positively agree with is to encourage the writers. Nothing's worse than busting your ass over something that means a lot to you and to receive little or no feedback.

It takes nothing to drop in a line.

Remember, we were all in that position once...

Yep, all the info is there on the board, just look for the Rules thread, and read up on the first post on the Inscription thread, which lists what positions are taken.

I was thinking of quoting Prince Ludwig the Indestructible here, trying to be humorous of the sheer lenght of MrT's great post giving him his FOOL! thingy.

But I was unsure about the wording, and decided not to do it. I mean, what if I got a funny, but rude comment wrong? Argh!

Now my post count increased. Didn't it? Anyway... I think almost all AAR writers here are extremely worthy of an accolade. Think about it: How on earth do you make a summary of playing a computer game interesting? Well, there are so many characters involved in some of the AARs that deserve praise that I... well, I just say 'thank you all'.

For those interested

I'm, sure everyone here knows that you can change countries in the middle of my game...so that's the idea. Take a saved game file (an AAR would be interesting) and choose a different nation. If Brandenburg owns all of Northern Germany, try playing as Aragon. If the Ottomans lose a vassal and it survives, try playing as them. AFAIK, this hasn't been done before.
