Then we have to grow strong before getting in to the trouble, Very Hard means a boring, pacific game at the start and a certainly more interesting play at the endOriginally posted by Faeelin
Hmm.
What if the Americans took pommern, and the euros savoy (or vice versa)?
I'd go with hard/furious. BB wars are well and good, but.... remember, if we spend years upon years waiting for bb to go wdown, it won't be that interesting.
Maybe a certain player (1 out of 4 or somesuch) turns the game onto vhard/furious, rides out the bb wars, and then reverts back?

L.J. - hope you got my e-mail response to the great job you did on Western Europe. You deserve a very big hand from everyone for your efforts, most of which I will incorporate into the August 1st update.Originally posted by Lord Joseph
MrT, I sent you an email with the results of 3 hours of reading through the Western Europe AARs... let me know what you thought.

Okay, I had decided on a Puritan game after all...
But I've now twice played the 1617 scenario, basically hands off, and both times the Puritans failed to form.
Any ideas on how I can "pursuade" the Puritans to form by revolt (rather than by artificially setting them free)? Any help would be much appreciated.
