As it currently stands one of the more annoying things in game is aircraft successfully engaging and destroying AAA which is supposed to prevent aircraft from attacking your troops. One potential solution I've come up with is to make AAA far more accurate but only against planes that are attacking that specific AAA. So if three planes are flying overhead but only one is attacking the AAA the AAA will only get a massive accuracy bonus against the one aircraft attacking it. This would represent the fact that if an aircraft is attacking a AAA it is flying straight at the AAA making the aircraft a much easier target for the AAA. In addition by simply buffing accuracy against just the attacking plane the AAA will just be much riskier for the enemy to counter with planes but if the planes get through they will kill the AAA just as quickly as they would beforehand.

I'm sort of on the fence about this. I totally understand your grievance but I don't want balancing to be done rock, paper scissors-style. Just give it maybe a slight buff in accuracy, like a +1 if it is attacking something flying straight into it.

Well yeah just something so that AAA isn't vulnerable to almost any single strike aircraft just strafing it or just a single plane attacking one AAA piece. I am more than happy if someone sends multiple strike aircraft against my AAA for it to die. It is still very annoying but atleast it means the opponent had to invest some amount of points into it instead of just sending joe fighter bomber after it. By far the biggest offenders are rocket strikes as the aircraft gets rockets off so far out that it is almost impossible to stun them in time. This is a much bigger issue for any sort of armored push as even if you have multiple SPGAA with your tanks they still are highly unlikely to fend off any sort of rocket strike.

And there you just invented differences in accuracy based on lateral movement. This could be useful for the entire game but isn't in for I don't know, maybe "engine limitations".
But you can tie it to an attack order on the AAA you say, but then people will just ground-attack the ground right next to it and kill it without the negative effects of higher AAA accuracy.
I agree that it would be nice to have, but it may require things we cannot easily get in order to do it properly.

Yeah. I just wish there was something so AAA didn't die all the time to airstrikes. I'm not sure what can be done to make AAA highly resistant to airstrikes other than just making AAA take very little damage from airplanes but then that just feels silly. It would be better than the current situation though.
