A whole juicy problem bundle

Ever since the launch of 1.29.1 I've been having constant problems with running the game and whatnot, for starters initially I could only launch the .exe, it worked for a while

Then .2 came around and I could not launch the .exe anymore

I deleted everything, downloaded the game again, downloaded the launcher as well and it ran fine for about half a day

Afterwards the Launcher download forced me to download it again which promptly rendered me unable to use the launcher

I could still run the .exe, and it stayed like this... for about two days

I turn my computer on to play the game and literally there is not a single eu4 document present, I search for the .exe, it's nonexistant, I delete and redownload, nothing, the launcher download still demands I download the launcher, despite having already done so (tried to, at least) for the seventh time today. I tried to look for details, if this is a complicated crash or something. Nope

There is not a single thing, anywhere, regarding this problem on my pc

Help would be greatly appreciated

I run on Windows 7 Ultimate, to clarify

Let's do a complete reinstall of the launcher, as it is tricky to find all the folders:

- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.


Delete the following folders if still present:

- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
- Documents/paradox interactive/.cpatch/
- Documents/paradox interactive/launcher-v2.2019.10.3/


Reboot.

Now install EU4 again and see how that goes please!
