a third empire, can it be done

Hi All,

am a long time player of HOI 2 and havent lost against the comp in year (nothing new i here u say) i recently bought DD.

my question is playing has a minor say bulgaria, china or hungary can u build an empire and keep it i.e Once the commies and yanks come into europe is it a futile existance or can u create a 3rd way in DD OR DOES IT TURN INTO A SITUATION that if u attack anyone your screwed

Several players have done world conquests as minor nations so anything is possible. China has great potentiall for becoming a "third empire" due to the huge manpower when united. I once united Europe as Hungary and I'm not that good at the game. Stabbing Germany in the back around 1944 seems to be the easiest way of getting an empire.

well i know from experience that if italy, spain and bulgaria in HOI2 become allies and take france and yugoslavia in and around 1937. then wait till 1939 when belgium ally with the uk after the german invasion you will have an italian empire stretching from holland to turkey

, knock out gibraltar and have the north african war you can pretty much become an empire but what seems to happen is germany steem rolls the ussr cause of its one front war in effect and the usa seem to just do nothing and a constant to and fro in the desert develops around 1946 so the game just ends in 1948. but with DD i hope it still become worth playing after that date
