Had it hands off till 1938, in July 1938 the allies had reached technological leadership:

Oh hell, well, maybe i should then reduce their industrial advantages.
I'll have two difficulties i guess.

One for "possible with a lot of work and sweat" and one at "insane" difficulty.

N!ghtY,

this has me intrigued.

Basically what is the level of challenge for the German player in this set up ?

Bolted 1.02c was good, but it was designed to be balanced. Fed 3.2 was anti-Axis and thus provided a real challenge.

Please tell me this is what I think it is : a 1936 scenario designed to seriously (I mean seriously) challenge the German player.

BTW : sorry my pm box was full, I have cleaned up now ...

Keep up the good work.

Muadib,

yes yes i tell you this is a anti-axis :)D) scenario, very much of it indeed.
If you like a challenge you should definitely go for it. If you dislike your hair getting grey in desperation :) then do not start playing.

As you see i'm just trying to tweak 1) technology-research-splitting 2) invasion tweaks.

I just had another handsoff game to see deficiencies.
There were some things i noticed.

Tech sharing works well, have a look, pictures taken on april1939,breakout of war.

Unit production is also fine:

Some faults:

* Deactivated Molotov-Ribbentrop :( when i played around with creating the "Warszaw Union" if the german player decides on a buffer to the soviet union.

* Tech sharing for france lacks behind, i have to see if i messed sth. up or if the french are just too arrogant to accept offered techs :)

*Russion AI messed concerning fortresses * a it*(starts 1937)

*I'll take away russion claims on tannu tavu, cause the y use all their DI on them in vain

Check back in one hour, should be up then

Hmm ... this sounds worth a shot.

Two queries :-

1. are you reactivating Molotov pact ?

2. the German manpower events from Bolt, are they still in ?

Basically I found on 1.02c Bolted HOI that I would run out of Manpower as Germany after the war with Soviets begins. I don't have that problem with Fed 3.2, but then again he has very high MP levels.

Thanks.

I should hopefully have some time tomorrow evening to try this out.

Hi Night

Did some testing and playing.

The game gets unbalanced after France because, with the workers upgrade you will posses so much ic's you can build panzers like infantry. I normally go for Denmark - Sweden - Norway b4 DOW the Su so i would drown in ic's this way. Cool but it makes it easy to win the game. And i want to LOOSE ;) (after a grand fight)

I dont know if its a bug or not but Vichy France did not happen at all. I sure had a suprise there hehe

Maybe its me but the normal axis (Italy - Hungary -Romania) are very low on tech when they join in '39 much lower then normal.

I like the way you are making this mod. It sure is a different approach as to what i have played.

Invasions happens but not with the desired result. Ok its '39 but i am at war with USA as well.

Keep it up.

Wow thats a nice intro pic :D

Ok i researched workers eff 1 in '36 immediatly thereafter II i think in '37 then i didnt researched them as i needed all ic's to build up divisions.

I took almost all of France (Italy took 3 provinces) because Vichy did not happen. The event was never triggered.

Ok i have a pic which shows the immense amount of IC's

Now imagine what happens when i take Scandinavia ;)

Yeah i did modify manpower. I refuse playing with such low manpower. Like i said thats just me. Think i gave myself 2000 mp with the bolt mp event not working as i told earlier.

I like taking on Scandinavia. Gives me something to do waiting for SU invasion. And its annoying giving the Allies airbases in Norway when they join the allies.

I think the key to an interesting game might be the USA. FED tried the SU and the likes of me and Muad didnt had any problem with that scenario. There needs to be a lot of pressure arround '39-'40 on the western front after France falls. Only then u will need to pay serious attention there and leave your SU front less powerfull. Maybe an idea to tweak the USA ai so they wont build that many strat and fighter cause they are useless anyway.

Cheers

Dont mess with Scandinavia hehehehe

I had taken just taken that into account. I concentrated on some naval and mainly tac development for the us alongside infantry.
A lot of tac bombers guarded by proper fighters really are a pain in the ass, especiall if you are low on manpower and they continue bombing you.

Bombers are also much faster and more reliable in UK soon.

Let's see:

military = {

relative_build_scheme = no

infantry = 20
cavalry = 0
motorized = 0
mechanized = 0
panzer = 0
paratrooper = 0
marine = 10
bergsjaeger = 0

strategic_bomber = 0
tactical_bomber = 25
naval_bomber = 5
dive_bomber = 0
transport_plane = 0
torpedo_plane = 0

battleship = 0

destroyer = 5
cruiser = 5
