For Summerhall, I think it might be a poignant little easter egg to give it the CoA of Ser Duncan the Tall (in houseless hedge knight arms), since that's supposedly where he dies.

In the Reach, Oldtown should have the Hightower CoA, while Goldengrove belongs to House Rowan and should have their CoA. Since the Reach isn't really the name of any specific part of the region I dunno if you'll find a suitable CoA... Maybe give it the CoA of House Gardener, since that's the house that ruled before the Tyrells?

You could do something similar with Lannisport, maybe give it the CoA of a vanished house like Castamere?

Dragonstone could have either the Targaryen arms if you don't plan on bringing them in elsewhere, or maybe Stannis's personal Baratheon arms with the stag in the flaming heart.

King's Landing could maybe have the white Kingsguard shield... Don't know of a particularly appropriate one for the Kingswood, but one cool one that's not often used is the arms of Aegor Rivers in personal arms (he was Bittersteel, the chief ally of Daemon Blackfyre the rebel).

For the Riverlands, yeah I'd use the Mudd arms for Oldstones, and maybe Fisher for Stoney Sept since they're another previous kingly house. Not sure about High Heart. I just realized you don't have Raventree Hall (Blackwood) or Stone Hedge (Bracken), which might be problematic since they're two of the biggest riverlands vassals. Maybe they could replace a couple of those provinces, but if you don't want to do further map changes at this point that's understandable.

For the Bloody Gate, perhaps you could use the arms of the Royces of the Gates of the Moon... a different gate, but still. ;) I can't really find any info on Sunkenwood or even when it's mentioned in the books. Suppose could use the Lynderlys (they're of Snakewood).

With the North, yeah I'd just use Mountain Clan CoAs where appropriate and such. Fenn looks like it might be good for Moat Cailin. Some random other Northern CoAs should work for the others.

A fully black CoA for the Wall would be cool, especially if you mirrored it with a white one for King's Landing.

Sounds right for Beyond the Wall - even simple patterns would be fine.

-------
On religion - does CK even include Judaism? I'm not sure how it works to mess with the religions. One option would even be just using Christianity (maybe with Orthodox for the North/Iron Isles) and then using traits to represent the others. If you know how to do it better though that's cool.

I wouldn't have a province for the papacy if it can be avoided, since Oldtown is run by House Hightower not the Faith.

Anyway, glad to hear you've got the hardest stuff done!

It seems the errors (like I expected) are difficulty the completion of the map.

So, I am doing other stuff.

I've choose the CoA Skyman adviced. 3 I had to do.

The Umber's last hearth, The King's Woods and the bloody Gate.

I still (of course) need to make those into CK CoA.

Until I have the map done, there is the province map. With the province numbers. Here you can see the size of each lord's controlled provinces.

And right now I am making the Dynasties.

I'm puting the houses that have lands inside the provinces that should have those lands, example "Hornwood" will be spawned in the "Dreadfort" province.

Also I'm thinking giving the possibility of every dynasty to spawn in the Wall. What you think?

And every landless dynasty the oportunity to spawn everywhere in her "kindgdom" for example the "Lake" just in the north etc.

But some specials ( like Cassel ) shall only spawn in particular places.
If anyone know any more "special" houses tell me ( I'm thinking about Clegane house also )

Or

I could put every known house ( that appeared in the book ) with a known place in that province. For example the "Mollen" House, that the only known member is part of the Winterfell Guard

I just finished making the Dynasties ( I just left the Frozen lands for later )

So,

The North: 45
Dragonstone and King's Landing: 37
Iron Islands: 19
The Riverlands: 35
The Vale: 27
Westerlands: 39
The Stormlands: 32
Dorne: 30
The Reach: 36

Every Area was their houses, with just Dorne to have some "of somewhere" houses, because I did not found much info.

Also every house that has a Keep can only be spawned in a particular province and in the Wall.

The "Major" ( the ones with at least a county) houses can not be re-spawned, if they die, they die.

So right now we have 300m unique houses of Westeros, that means more than 2 for each province ;)

PS: Skyman I, in the Riverlands gave High Heart to Blackwood and Fairmarket to Bracken

Looking great. Nice job with the names and the CoAs.

If you want to find any other last names for random courtiers this list of ASoIaF characters has a lot of ones that are only briefly mentioned.

Slynt and Baelish should probably only spawn in King's Landing if you're going to have them spawn at all (but might be better to have only the characters with those names who are premade).

Slynt is only in Kings Landing. Baelish is in "Coldwater", because that is the place where the family comes from.

Should I let the major houses spawn in the Wall? What you think?

Hi to everyone, I'm a newcomer of this board.

This Westeros project is very interesting, I can't wait to give it a try!

I have some little suggestions: this map is the most detailed one I found on the net, it contains many many more places than the ones displayed on the books' maps.
I think it may be useful to add some of these to the game map itself, since they are the seat of important houses.

Also, if you look here, you can find a complete (I think) list of all houses divided by region; description of each houses includes each known member, the location of their seat, description of their coat of arms, (if any) their overlords and sworn houses, and so on...

Keep up the work!

Just a suggestion.. Couldn't the Others be treated like some kind of Mongols? :) In the books they are seen as a rising threat. Perhaps having an event (if that's even possible, I know nothing about modding :)) spawn a low number of them at first and then increasing over time?

I'm looking at the .bmp files and I notice that the ProvID's are messed up, I don't know if that comes from just saving and converting from different formats from your originals, but each ID province needs to be just one colour exactly, I look at the edges of yours and I see anti-aliasing, i.e. a red province has a one pixel darker or lighter line around the edge, it all needs to be exactly the same. If you are using photoshop and the 'fill' tool set the tolerance to 0 and turn anti-aliasing off.

Also your borders seem quite off, from my experience the border lines need to be three pixels wide, some variance seems to be okay, with a blue line inbetween the red lines, study the original map files from extracting to see what I mean. And also I thought the 'white' parts in the borders files needed to be transparent, although that shouldn't cause much problems apart from an annoying large red line in game.

Thanks, I will try... Also what can I do about the ARGB instead of the RGB? I selected the RGB thing but in the end it becames ARG, what should I do?
