-Gaius Julius Agricola, wailing as his 4th offspring was produced, revealing a suspiscious lack of a body part.

Any ideas as to how to increase the chances of a male heir? I want to continue the Agricola nickname, but Gaius is not providing.

I have no answer but Stoicism (not the invention)

Sigh. Honestly wish I could divorce my wife rather than execute her.
Why do you think is your wife? Can not we have more than one wife? I think this was possible at the time, never tried on game but sometimes a bastard son event offers you the option to recognize him. Probably if your character has the lust or libidinous trait.

what you need to do to "fix" this disbalance of the game is to imprison the MALE babies from other families, short term it doesnt give fruits but in long term it does, also remove all unemployed MALE characters which are not part of the families , even family members

Nope, u can’t sadly. I got 4 daughters and no sons. I really think at this point it’s a bug not a feature. My previous Epirus run in 1.5 had the same problems, it’s really frustrating
How did you turn the Julii into a great family in this update? In all my games Lucius Julius Libo always get adopted if I give him any job
Wait a year, and then assign Libo to a governor/generalship. Do not assign him until then.

I got the Juni and then the Juli as great families. I did the Juli last because Libo has a son, so I have some time

Thanks for the advice! It’s really ridiculous that we have to resort to such measures. The CKII systems etc worked fine, why is Imperator the only game that suffers this problem? This was present even before 2.0, it’s really frustrating

Thankfully, I have comfort that Gaius Marius is helping me grind down the Seleucids :)
