If any of you play HOI2 and don't promote all your leaders to generals and field marshalls until you max their skill, then you know my pain. In HOI2 if you had say 36 divisions in a province separated into 20+ individual corps and divisions, and you wanted them to attack 2 different provinces while still keeping a few corps in the province for defense, it takes at least a whole minute to select and shift deselect each corps and give them orders. The main reason it takes so long is because you have to read through the little text underneath each corps name to see if it already has orders or not. If there was a way to distinguish between divisions that had orders I could just select all the divisions and shift deselect the ones with orders pretty quickly, but right now reading through that tiny text is an eyesore.

What I propose is changing the color of a corps name to red or blue or something to signify that it already has orders. Would be extremely easy to implement and help people like me who hate promoting their leaders!

The actions of the unit should also be visible from the map, so that when you are looking at all the units laid out, you can see which ones are attacking where. Maybe with colour-coded arrows, showing different prov's attacking the same target.

If you have 36 divisions in a province in HOI3 they are going to be out of supplies and useless. In addition, you are going to be leaving alot of the front undefended so they will be easily surrounded.

Since you are going to have to organise your forces into Corps/Armies/Army Groups to get the best out of them you are going to have to promote your best leaders to the higher commands. But those commands will then appear in the Outliner, and IIRC from EUIII they have an arrow next to them if they are moving. So you can easily identify Corps which are not doing anything and select them in the Outliner and give them an order.
