Maybe make the 100 Years War Unit Pack free now that in most games you won't get to see them?

Except that Spain and England are getting their development levels decreased in the new patch... Most of my 1.11 play throughs already end up with a very powerful France, now I bet its going to get even more ridiculous.
Gone and replaced by high-LA provinces instead. Since this means no vassal-zerg, which has in total around 60k manpower more than France will have now, it might be a good thing.

I wouldn't be too sure. The no vassals is actually a nerf for France (they diplo-annexed to 0 LA) but now they are starting with higher LA. Burgundy, on the other hand, should be more powerful I think.
But any nation in a player's had is powerful than AI

I hope Provence is still a vassal rather than part of France, because it was an imperial territory ruled (at one point) by a king (of Sicily), and wasn't annexed into the Crown until the 1480s. It's not the same as Bourbon, Auvergne or those other territories which were simply devolved fiefdoms within the kingdom of France.
Provence is not a vassal in 1.11 - it is an independent tag with a PU over Lorraine.
Provence always started off independent so they should still be the same.

Thanks. Just read the patch notes. Looking forward to seeing how France and Burgundy play out.
Getting a discount would seem appropiate. The vassal ones are the best, Auvergne was my favourite one.

Expanding the hyw models to minor countries bordering france (new burgundian vassals, Lorraine, Navarra) could be a good solution.

Maybe paradox can reuse some the models in another nations close, like navarra for example
