?!? A Random AAR - Burma

I could not decide which country to play as so I have decided to pick a random one by picking a number.

The Number = 25

The Country = Burma

This is my first AAR so hopefully you will all correct me on how to do this properly.

Starting at 120th in the world Burma should prove challenging as I have only owned the game for a couple of months now.

I will try to update at least twice a week but im going on holiday in a couple of weeks so forgive me if this is slow starting.

I am going to post how Burma starts the game and will strive to become a civilised nation. Will update as I play.

Hopefully without being annexed by UK. :rofl:

I've just started the game and have taken some screenshots to show you the greatness of my vast empire.


This is the Economic mapmode and show my country mainly produce's Tropical wood and Grain with 1 RGO of Opium.

A few Nasty Neighbour's. Uk to left and below China above and a few other small nation's.

As you can see my extensive armed forces to prevent against attack from China or UK.
Also note the Educated Population.

Excellent! Burman terrain is utterly nasty to fight in (as I found out...see AAR), so if you can get your hands on that flintlock rifle tech, you might be able to hold out for a little while. There's gonna be a lot of waiting involved the rest of the time, though...

Yeh the techs take an age to be researched and I have 0 prestige and industry score and 1 military so Civilisation will be very hard.

As you can see UK decided I was too much of a threat to their existence.

Also note the massive income of my country. Looks like it's back to playing with Great Powers.

I am all my troops are in mandalay and its 1841 the UK have all my territory but I have beaten off around 15 attempts by the UK to take my capital they are now also at war with China but they won't accept any peace deals.

The onlt problem is all my bloody troops are switching sides.

Oranje is an interesting country to play, you can expand through all Africa but you still have to deal with UK

No more damn UK for me im trying to find a country without a border to the UK if that is possible I've had enough of their over agression for this month.

Tibet? they have UK border aswell though I will try them if I can't think of anythink else.
