A question about Hive Minds

If it takes all your Ethos Points to be a hive mind, what if you get Horizon Signal'd? Or is that Event Chain deactivated for Hive Minds?

Hive Minds can't be liberated and they can't liberate.

After conquest the pops will whiter, unless you picked the Biological ascension path. Then you can add/remove the Hive Mind Traits.

Well, it could still work with Autonomous drones repalcing leaders.
Granted a lot of the Happiness/Ethos related effects are not applicable.
So I would guess it is disabeled or radically changed for Hiveminds.
