A question about "Divisions"

That's a new dynamic for HOI4 is it? Because in all previous HOI the Indian armies were completely under British control, British in all but name, in game terms. I can remember pulling out the Indian divisisions to form a massive BEF for the 1939/40 French front. Oh, the look on the German faces.

In Darkest Hour was a British Raj Country, for me the best HoI game ever, even when i had my problems with the sovjets. It even looked better then HoI3... and the core system <3

I havn't kept full attention to all episodes of WWW but could Johan have refered to British divisions as well as American and other allied troops on British soil? Maybe expeditionary forces? Did he really say "hundreds of British divisions"?

He certainly said "hundred", which is already twice what Britain fielded historically - and he wasn't including any American Divisions in that tally. However, in this thread many good reasons have been offered for this discrepancy. (HOI Divisions are smaller than the historical ones, so there can be more of them; the tally may have included French units that had been absorbed when France fell; Johan ahistorically activated "Mobilize all adults" - and other good explanations). So I am inclined to be a little more tolerant now (although literally "hundreds" of British divisions would be too much!) .
