Hi! I'm having problem waging my wars due to a lowering food production.
I'm using 2 armies, and for some reason the actual food income has been getting increasingly lower. I don't know why this is, considering that I built all the food-boosting buildings in Camelot. Currently I'm struggling really hard because I can't reinforce my armies!

Armies of Samhain have a -5% population decrease per season (as well as some challenges), it is noticed near the description of the "quest" in the right bottom corner.
It happened to me the first time i played too. Try to kill all the samhain armies, use the locations lowering the upkeep cost, or restart if you're really too screwed.

Those ghosts eat people fast, and some battle quests can be very nasty is you wait too long to tackle them.

Keep in mind that, when you have identified what problem you have exactly, that (once you research them) there are province "commands" available that may alleviate some of the issues (health, repopulation, loyalty ...). They are expensive in gold, but can "rebuild" your food production in the long run, it make sense to use them if you have an unbalanced gold to food ratio (eg. repopulation to help with provinces victim of the samhain). Selected leaders+wives+artifact with population growth as liege lord too.

Hey! I restarted the campaign from an earlier point, and it worked splendidly.
First of all, I took care of the army of samhain every time it appeared, and i also did all the artefact quests. Seems having thriving lands really helps when it comes to warfare ^^
