Well of course it sounds excellent in theory, but consider that that would be a massive amount of work - perhaps even more than was needed for the original game. That is, if you're considering a full political system seeking to simulate late 18th/early 19th century Revolutions, on top of expanding the map to include the Americas! As far as I know, that would be an entirely different game, and wouldn't resemble a game primarily focused on the Napoleonic Wars.

Paradox should consider making an entire game regarding the settlement and eventual revolutions there. Something along the lines of Sid Meier's Colonization but with a more historical theme.

I think most people who want non-european centered DLC sort of forget this game is supposed to be about the Napoleonic wars. It's called March of the eagles for a reason. The eagles did not march in America or India. All dreams of expansion oversea for Napoléon ended at Trafalgar(And yes I know the game happens before Trafalgar but that doesnt mean its a good reason to mess up Napoleonic Europe by giving the AI the chance to expand elsewhere.Leave the poor AI alone to deal with a single continent or its head will explode and your computer with it). The british player would find himself overun by problem if he had to defend America from those bloody yanks and from the Indians as well. It's adding a lot of difficulty for one faction and completely decentralising the purpose of the game. Modders may do as they wish but I'd much prefer they improve the base concept and leave the rest to modding.

I don't think they should include all the Americas. Just North America up to the Mississippi (with a few west for New Orleans, Saint Louis, etc.) and the Caribbean islands.

I'd like an Indian DLC
Third and Fourth Anglo-Mysore Wars
First and Second Kandyan Wars
The Second Anglo-Maratha War

English.
English.
English.

Maybe we could add some other English-only wars so that we could have a DLC only for British players, and to be sold only in UK (and India by the way).

A 1796-1805 DLC or an American and Latino Revolutions DLC would fit perfectly I think.

Most of the wars mentioned as possible dlc in this thread are two sided and waged on a very small scale which doesnt exactly appear to be taking full advantage of the maneuvering possibilities of the game. Not to mention that some of them are clearly nigh impossible to win for one of the contender and should probably be better represented by events. Heck maybe the said events can be long chains which may grant your bonuses or disadvantages over the long run with some form of random calculation to see who wins. For example, Britain loosing the war of 1812 and thus most likely Canada as well would loose a source of bonus income but perhaps also gain troops that were stationed in Canada and that have been shuffled out in the peace treaty. Just a thought. Designing entirely new maps for things that have little to do with the Napoleonic wars and are mostly sideshows for England is somewhat a waste of ressources that would be better spent improving the base content.

With such a good warfare system to model medieval warfare, you could make DLC with new scenarios. I'd pay for that :/ If technology, sprites and such were to be modeled after the time I'd pay 5-7 dollars for let's say a Franco-Pressuian war DLC.
