Playing as Japan some weeks ago, and having Sinkiang as my ally versus Nationalist China, I was amazed by the poor quality of Sinkiang´s forces. I was very generous with blueprints, but still they were geeking around with 1918-infantry well into mid-forties. Yesterday, I checked some countries starting IC in 36´-scenario, and saw that Sinkiang had only 5 IC. Ok, the poor souls, I thought! Better check the tech teams as well. And there I found...nothing, nada! 0 tech teams!!

Clearly, this must be a development bug? Was Sinkiang THAT bad in real life??All the other minor Chinese countries have at least one tech team, enabling them to accomplish SOMETHING! But Sinkiang was totally doomed here. Although I feel a bit sympathy for them in their status as massive underdogs, I would be happy if this strange error is deleted in V1.2 with some proper, puny tech team available for Sinkiang!

Most releasable countries have no tech teams, ministers, or leaders. However, I at least expected Sinkiang, which starts out existing from the beginning of the game, to have at least one tech team...

I'm sure that Paradox will fix it up in a patch, or some modders will.

Singkiang deserves at least a tech team, and Communist China deserves at least a skill 2 infantry research team.

Every country deserves at least FIVE tech teams; if they manage to get that much IC, they deserve to research. Doesn'T matter if these tech teams have skill one and no specialtys. And it doesn't matter, too, if these tech teams rise from the nowhere and have strange names like "Tech team two" as soon as a country manages to get this much IC.

BUT it could be nice to get some tech teams from annexation (if you OWN a special province(s), you get that tech team). That don't have to be special persons (like Guderian and such), but Skoda, C-D-K, I.G. Farben and such are useable, I think.

Paradox must have had a bad day when they designed Sinkiang. Checking the Airforce staff a few minutes ago, the alternative replacement for Pietr Orlov is....Pietr Orlov! How do you report a bug??

The "Clone" problem. I forgot what the cause and fix is but I will add it to the bug report (I'm a Beta).
