(sorry it's in german only, maybe you can translate it... it says that in Australia there have been several attacks by deep-frozen chicken, which fell into houses with highspeed, destroying windows and other things...I suppose the italian army should change from pizza to chicken!)

Elbasto - Yes I have paratroopers, they are currently in Denmark with a force of 8 or so Marine divisions. I think we both understand each other!

Gen. Guisan - . Flying chickens hey. its a good think we took over most of France, there will be an endless supply then! Hmmm frozen pizzas dropped from bombers.....now theres a concept!

Jopi - . Yes, but it was only 2 corps of them, about 6divisions. Dont forget, I had 3tank divisions and 5 infantry divisions with them, so it was a mixed force. Plus my marines in the area only numbered 2 divisions; one was in the South Solomons and the other was in Dili going to Macao. It jus didnt make it there in time!

Episode 12 - Prelude: The Situation in the Air, at Sea and at Home

Jopi - So do I. Im about 2/3 into the campaign and its been the toughest so far. Even the 105b AI has been surprising ok, although it does have more mp and better defensive positions. The Maginot Line for instance are 10s! Glad that was changed in 106. Futhermore, it has superior technology all the way and I start the campaign in August, thats when I was ready to go. Last thing is, if it Annexed SU, then I will be fighting a rearguard for the rest of the war!

If I remember Ill post some of those tech graph comparisons from the ledger! Oh sorry, thatll teach to post when Im posting! No worries about the front, least I could do to the few remaining loyal posters. I dare say its gone on for too long this little AAR!

Anibal - Ha. If only there was such an event, it would save me a considerable amount of aggravation!

Btw, "Ceterum Censeo, Germania esse delendam!" means "Im übrigen bin ich der Meinung das Germanien zerstört werden sollte" ... wait.. damn, my latin skills are only latin-german, another translation needed Well, it should mean "In my personal opinion, Germany should get destroyed"

(How bad, my latin is still better than my English is..)

La Tedesca Marina is nothing compared to La Regia Marina. The germanic hordes may claim to be superior in technology, but the roman legionnaires and centurions will cause enough confusion... Plus, with some air cavalry, it gets easy.

As easy as drinking beer. And the more beer the germanic hordes drink, the more wine drink the romans. Everyone gets drunk together, so the pround roman non-alcoholic roman legions can smash through german hinterland non-stop.

And, of course, my Alpini will demolish the Caucasus!

One question: I wonder why you spend so much RP on research when so close to the end? Wouldn't it be better to produce as much units as possible?

@JVega - Thx. Its a very difficult campaign, but its going well. Not all is going as planned! Comparisons to Juilio Cesare, whatever next!


Gen Guisan - No problem about the front! Thought you [all] would like! Well we wont destroy Germany, we incorporate it into the bigger family of what is now Il Dolce Impero!

Anibal - Well, by taking southern France and Sth Africa, Ive ensured that the supply of vino is everfollowing, now all I need is California, Australia....

Dekessey - Molto Grazie! Glad its still appealing after all this time! The main reason is that even with a minister x2 MP, I only have 33 or so MP, which I think rises to about 100MP by the time the war starts! [I actually forgot to point this out! ] Thats the other possible advantage the Germans have, replacements! Looks like it will need be a pocketing strategy of attrition rather than a straight forward race for the VPs!
