~ No worries. Well I think Belgium has been taken out by the Germans so I would need to DOW Germany to puppet them! Im more likely to go for unconquered nations and fight the biggies later. Although Germany really scares me, as I dont have the tech to compete with them and secure the empire. But the time for ENDGAME will be upon us soon!

Frankie - Yes, the time limit is starting to become a factor pretty soon... Do you think Africa is secure enough for you to start considering further conquests?

Basilbrush - I'm sure everyone was told to forget what they had seen afterwards. Ever onwards 2coats. Is the Regia Marina doing anything more than just shipping troops? Anything new due to roll out of the shipyards?
~Hehe, mamma' di werd! Regia Marina hasnt been really needed. So far, its only really helped with Sealion. As you can see, having the land connection meant no need for naval battles.

Ooops!! Its amazing how much one word can contrive to misrepresent what one is thinking. "Still" It actually made that sentence seem as if I was being a little bitter or complaining at the lack of interest. I wasnt! What I meant was, if there are any readers 'still' reading this AAR by the time I get to making a poll which will let you (all) determine what the final phase of the game will be about! Those that have dropped by the wayside, wont Im afraid get the chance to influence where Il Duce ends up! SO a BIG sorry from me for that misunderstanding!

~Well youve said it more than once. If I gave out 2Coats points, youd have a 100 by now! Almost forgot.... Have about 3/4 Basic Medium and 1/4 Adv. Light, slowly upgrading. After the next chapter which is coming btw, I will print a complete status on Il Impero from ministers to complete armed forces review. The next chpt (16) is about 1/2 done btw, so Im thinking towards the next weekend expect to see a poll! <whooooo!>

Personally, I like that your'e doing all this without Germany. I would only ally with them if the SU gets out of hand with you. I'm wary of you going against Germany just yet, though if you and Germany overcome the SU, Germany will be a powerful force to oppose. Scandinavia's a good initial idea followed by the UK and Comintern. Kiss me blarney, you gutted the Irish!

Personnally I would let the north of the Imperio safe for now and finish africa and asia, in order to secure a good flow of rubber. This would give you enough time to make up for the technological gap between the Imperio and the Reich. At the same time it would free assault forces ( even if the strain on the production queue to build occupation troops will be hard ) wich could then be massed in France for a Blitzkrieg in northern France, the Low Countries and Germany proper, with a rush toward Berlin or even the Baltic in order to create a big pocket, take lots of german's supplies and weaken them... The russian would then push against the germans in the east in order to use the opportunity you created, and in the process would overstretch allowing you to mount an assault from Caucasus into the russian plains, using as much infantry as you can... Armor are not critical if you use enough motorized infantry equiped with engineer brigades...
The only threat to Il Duce I believe is the huge Indian manpower that the UK has upon relocation of their capital. Specially considering that those are "national" areas.
I know I don't post much and I miss updates and have to catch up but If I were to vote I would say stay seperate from Germany in case you decide later that you don't want to be drug down by them.
