~ No worries. Well I think Belgium has been taken out by the Germans so I would need to DOW Germany to puppet them! Im more likely to go for unconquered nations and fight the biggies later. Although Germany really scares me, as I dont have the tech to compete with them and secure the empire. But the time for ENDGAME will be upon us soon!

Korppi - It seems that soon africa all green.
~Sooner than you think...

Frankie - Yes, the time limit is starting to become a factor pretty soon... Do you think Africa is secure enough for you to start considering further conquests?
~ Not so that I have about 1.5 years before the end. Further conquests will be open to a vote, to anyone still reading the AAR.

Jopi - There seems to be nothing that can stop Il Duce, except the time limit!
~ And a random CTD! j/k....

elbasto - mmm... no logistical distances... have you thought on invading Australia?
~ Hello again. To far, but still, when I have enough garrison forces, it would make a nice addition!

Basilbrush - I'm sure everyone was told to forget what they had seen afterwards. Ever onwards 2coats. Is the Regia Marina doing anything more than just shipping troops? Anything new due to roll out of the shipyards?
~Hehe, mamma' di werd! Regia Marina hasnt been really needed. So far, its only really helped with Sealion. As you can see, having the land connection meant no need for naval battles.

Sultan Of Swing - That's the first time I've heard of a top secret special force being unveiled in a ceremony
~Tsk, tsk.... That damn Italian Intelligence Agency. I think Ill need to reappoint the head man!

Do you really think you lack readers ? your stuff has become legend for the AAR readers of this forum, and I'm sure even the return of The Yogi and his Fu Manchu plot has not drawn everybody out of your thread !

Not very likely! This AAR is a one-of-a-kind classic. Besides, if against all reason the readers have deserted this AAR, they're sure as hell not showing up in MPoFM. Blame Mettermrck... ;)

Exactly. This has to be one of the most exciting AARs I have ever read, with you delighting your readers with unique wit and humor update after update. I hereby promise to follow Benito's adventures all the way to the honorable end. However, before that happens, I would like to see Italians take on the United States on American soil.

Afterword:
Ooops!! Its amazing how much one word can contrive to misrepresent what one is thinking. "Still" It actually made that sentence seem as if I was being a little bitter or complaining at the lack of interest. I wasnt! What I meant was, if there are any readers 'still' reading this AAR by the time I get to making a poll which will let you (all) determine what the final phase of the game will be about! Those that have dropped by the wayside, wont Im afraid get the chance to influence where Il Duce ends up! SO a BIG sorry from me for that misunderstanding!

And now back to the action!

Mettermrck - Great update...sounds like the Allies are giving you a tough time in the air. You musta stope deez raydez! Great as ever.
~ Thank you. Not so much as making a dent, as to be an annoyance, .... like flies when youre eating.

Bryaxis - Do you really think you lack readers ? your stuff has become legend for the AAR readers of this forum, and I'm sure even the return of The Yogi and his Fu Manchu plot has not drawn everybody out of your thread !
~ Sorry my mistake. You should (and Ive wrote it before) read as many other AARs by other authors as we all put in a fantastic amount of work to keep these updates coming. Something no doubt you already knew! Yogi's returned? <avoids looks below ;-)>

The Yogi - Not very likely! This AAR is a one-of-a-kind classic. Besides, if against all reason the readers have deserted this AAR, they're sure as hell not showing up in MPoFM. Blame Mettermrck...
~Thank Yogi. I wasnt looking for encouragement honest. (Just look at the previous 800 or so comments. I know what I have to do. ;-) Its finish this or slash my wrists....and Im all out of razor blazes :-D I will try to round to reading your wonderful AAR soon, unfortunately, writing, betaing and work get in the way!

Oxymore - You don't really need those lagunari to take out Ireland... ... don't tell me you're going after North America.
~ No I didnt, but you know the Italians, better be on the safe side! After my campaign in Africa, I will let you all decide what I should do, by setting up a poll of strategic options, i.e. 1) attack US, 2) ally with Ger, 3) attack British in India 4) Attack GER, in Europe) etc. More to come.

Jopi - Dis iz definitely in mia Top 3! Btw, what kind of tanks you have?
~Well youve said it more than once. If I gave out 2Coats points, youd have a 100 by now! :) Almost forgot.... Have about 3/4 Basic Medium and 1/4 Adv. Light, slowly upgrading. After the next chapter which is coming btw, I will print a complete status on Il Impero from ministers to complete armed forces review. The next chpt (16) is about 1/2 done btw, so Im thinking towards the next weekend expect to see a poll! <whooooo!>

Frankie - Exactly. This has to be one of the most exciting AARs I have ever read, with you delighting your readers with unique wit and humor update after update. I hereby promise to follow Benito's adventures all the way to the honorable end. However, before that happens, I would like to see Italians take on the United States on American soil.
~<Hangs head in shame> How could I doubt the readership. If it werent for you all, Id have stopped ages ago. Little did I know what I was getting myself into when I started this! 150MB of webspace later, and 1yr+ and here we are with 1.5 yrs still to go!

Afterword
elbasto - we are reading, some of us aren't just posting on every update. Great update as usual, lets hope that those 36 allied divisions in India stay cool...
~I know that, but you should know that I dont take notice of postcount, so when the regulars such as yourself dont post, I think you have gone on to better things....anyways back to the action!

Jopi - Yeah, 100 2Coats points Have you thought about giving a new name for your own continent?
~No but Ive just named an Operation after YOU, youll see it in the next chapter.

Mettermrck - Darn right you're going to finish, 2Coats. This is artistic achievement in the making, and a lot of fun to read. So how long do you think it'll take you to secure all of Africa?
~That explains the gun to my head, with the letters on the side.... M....E...T....T...E....R....M....R.....C.....k! j/k Thanks. Although Im not after praise, I do appreciate constructive criticism so I know where to take the following updates, if Im fizzling out! If you know what I mean.

Anyways, that was the last update for Episode 15, Episode 16 will start from Monday onwards and isnt big....so expect the poll to be up sometime mid next week.

Possible options are:

Ally with Germany and
1) take on UK and Commitern
2) take on US, while GER takes on SU and UK
3) take on Scandanvia
4) take on South America starting with Brazil
5) take on SE Asia, Polynisia and Australia

Dont ally with Germany and
6) take on UK and Commitern
7) take on US, while GER takes on SU and UK
8) take on Scandanvia
9) take on South America starting with Brazil
10) take on SE Asia, Polynisia and Australia
11) take on Germany in France
12) take on Germany in Balkans

If anyone has any other suggestions, please put them forward before Thrusday.

Personally, I like that your'e doing all this without Germany. I would only ally with them if the SU gets out of hand with you. :) I'm wary of you going against Germany just yet, though if you and Germany overcome the SU, Germany will be a powerful force to oppose. Scandinavia's a good initial idea followed by the UK and Comintern. Kiss me blarney, you gutted the Irish! :)

Personnally I would let the north of the Imperio safe for now and finish africa and asia, in order to secure a good flow of rubber. This would give you enough time to make up for the technological gap between the Imperio and the Reich. At the same time it would free assault forces ( even if the strain on the production queue to build occupation troops will be hard ) wich could then be massed in France for a Blitzkrieg in northern France, the Low Countries and Germany proper, with a rush toward Berlin or even the Baltic in order to create a big pocket, take lots of german's supplies and weaken them... The russian would then push against the germans in the east in order to use the opportunity you created, and in the process would overstretch allowing you to mount an assault from Caucasus into the russian plains, using as much infantry as you can... Armor are not critical if you use enough motorized infantry equiped with engineer brigades...
