Do not know whether there is such a topic. But there are a number of serious problems with the behavior of AI.
1) When the front is organized on the defensive, the computer removes the flanks and flips them from place to place. This cancels the Ditch bonus. It can not be done that the redistribution was conducted along the front from the surplus to the place where the forces are lacking. In this case, the bonus of the can was partially transferred?
2) The "stop plan execution" button does not work.
3) In the attack of one kind of troops from the front of the defense of another, both armies begin the attack.
4) In the attack of one of the two armies with an adjacent front, the armies have one very long front. At what at both.
5) When attacking or breaking through, forces can leave the front and concentrate on short sections. As a result, you can lose an entire army ... on 3 cells.
6) When moving the army, 2 divisions can very quickly reach their destination and the rest will then drag on for almost a year. Sometimes the strategic shift does not want to be included.
7) Sometimes it is not clear who and where to attack. It's impossible to stop the attack.
8) Artillery is only available as division troops. There are no separate artilleries of these parts giving a bonus in defense or offense.

Honestly I do not understand, the management of the army is a very important part of the game, why does it not work as it should? The tactics of combat must have a serious meaning. And the ability to build a strategy correctly or change it quickly - should reward. In the game it is either not worked out, or not provided.

For your 2), the stop button work afaik, but if you want cancel current battles, you need to use the hold button.
6) look like a bug, if you have save and screen it could be useful to report it in bug section.
8) not related to AI, but you have art support company and art battalion. For global bonus on attack/defence you have generals traits, doctrines, army specialist (the one you get with PP, can't remember the exact name), so it's a lot of bonuses you can get there and there.

In general : Don't trust/rely on the battle-planner unless you have huge amount of troops. All tedious situations need a human management.
For manpower/resources for minors, check the NF tree and careful read the effect of some doctrines, you get huge MP bonuses (aside conscription law) and some civilian factories for free to trade for resources.
I never played Finland, but pretty sure I read about people holding the red army, so there is a solution.

And you can always find good advice here for all other situations. Mine are average, but there is here some specialist that go deeper in analysis and can lead you to better understand underlying game mechanism.
