What if there were also filters for things like high, medium, and low risks of inbreeding? Just seems like an appropriate companion feature

While we are at this, a simple "use the last filters", or other "save filters options" would be nice. Probably too much asked for paradox though.

Yeah this would be a great idea, especially if it lets you sort by the degree of separation. The game can already calculate it because its used for things like whether a marriage is even allowed based on your religion. As it is you have to do a ton of research (made even harder because the game doesn't have a proper 'family tree' view).

We had an option to set 4 filter presets on CKII, so this is a regression.

I would also like an option to filter out already married people when I am hunting for that extra spouse.

Most of the CK3 UI is a regression from the CK2 UI. If anything we should have unlimited user named filter presets now.

There already is a filter to remove married people, one which does not handle polygamy or betrothals ideally. What you are describing that you want is a 'can be married' filter option.

Not when you are in the "Find Spouse" section. There is a filter for married/unmarried in "Find Character" But a "Can be married" option in "find spouse" isn't the answer either, as when polygamy is enabled, sometimes I don't want already married people. So if we could get a "married/unmarried" filter for "Find Spouse", that would be great.

Ah, my misunderstanding. Yes, adding the Marital Status filter to the Find Spouse/Arrange Marriage panel would be a welcome addition. I keep forgetting that Paradox's new mantra with CK3 is less information, less control over that information. No idea why or whose idea it was to hide the few useful filters they have from certain panels.

This already exists, just set the dynasty filter to 'Lowborn'. :)
Sure, that's a workaround, but it doesn't change the fact that there's no option to filter nobles by consanguinity.

If you want to avoid inbreeding, there's no good reason for why you should only have to marry lowborn, or exhaustively search through family trees of all the different candidates to see how closely they're related to you and your dynasty.

Why not just allow players to save time and effort for something which has nothing to do with skill or proper gameplay?

I gets really annoying when I have a large family and the top 20 people on my search parameters have a risk of inbreeding, even the ones that don't have the family tree or blood icon.
The game even tells you, that the childs of the couple have a risk for inbred traits, even there is no chance of inbreeding, when both parents have the pure-blooded trait, the chance is zero.
