I tried that too. I know I have already registered my original game but it must have been under another screen name to the forums. I am getting the message my cd key for complete is already registered. I was able to register HTT yesterday. I guess I am just screwed. Who would I email to get this fixed. I have all my gamers gate information. I am getting so fustrated that I can't get this freakin patch when I did pay all my money like everyone else.

Bug Report - Provinces Resist Westernization
In the provinces resist westernization event there is a small error. The choices are reversed, so that when you accept their demands you get the result for ignoring their demands, and visa versa.

I at least found out my problem. I have the old EU3 registered under a screen name I created when I got both the games. I had forgot that I had this screen name from Victoria days and have been using it. So I have two games registered under two different forum screen names. Is there a way I can delete one of them and register the game under the other screen name? Then I can start my five day wait for new registrations. Arrrgghh.

Well, aside from the fact that you're not even supposed to have different forum accounts...
You'd have to contact the forum administrators (forum_admin@paradoxplaza.com) to see what can be done.
It never made sense to me how consolidating power in your realm made it decentralized.
A couple of questions: first, does anyone know exactly what tweaks have been made to the Kingdom of Jerusalem?
Secondly, can people confirm that installing this over 4.0 won't cause issues with save games? Because I have a game I'm playing through as an AAR (KoJ, funnily enough ) and I reaaaaaaaaaaalllly don't want to destroy the save game with the patch... But if it's definitely safe I'd love to use it.

Not sure... I suggest you make a copy of the game folder, and install the patch into this copy. You can run both versions. I always do it for betas.
I figured I'd only have to register the newest one, since it overides all the older add-ons/patches/original game. So, to get a beta for a game I already have registered, I must register an earlier game which the beta patch isn't even meant for...

I feel your pain. While I am waiting to be able to get the new patch beta I am going to replay the end of my last game. I coasted to a win with France but now I think I will take my aggression out on Austria and go "Dr Evil" on them. It won't matter what version I am playing then!

isn't there a qing already? I've noticed them during one of my games.
edit: It was "Qin Empire," around 1750's. It was ruled by a Qing Emperor, had alliance with the Manchus. I'm not sure whether the game meant the earlier Qin dynasty or the last chinese dynasty, Qing Dynasty due to that fact that it was named Qin empire but ruled by a Qing emperor and it was 1750's already.

It's not a new game though, it's an expansion which requires the original game. I suppose the logic is you may have 0, 1, 2 or 3 expansions, but to be playing anything you must have EUIII, hence why it's the one they check for.
Another reason would be expansions tend to be cheaper than full games, so if you were someone who'd pirated the game but then wanted access to the betas, if it were allowed the cheapest method would be to just buy and register an expansion. I'm aware that's not the case with EUIII and HttT due to how old EUIII is, but I would imagine when you are running a forum with dozens of different games you'd want to set up some basic rules for registration, not go through each one on a case by case basis.
The one in the game is the Qin dynasty. The Qing dynasty is a seperate entity altogether, which was dominated by Manchurians. There is an event to simulate it in the game, which gives all of Ming to Manchu, but oddly, there is no actual Qing nation.
Exactly why I was wondering why the Qin was under a Manchurian emperor.
"Maybe his secretary has half-deaf and heard only the Qin, not his full name Qing," I wondered.

Just an HTTT thing. Qing is listed as a dynasty name for that culture group, so there's a chance of getting an emperor of that family when the dynasty changes.
