A new city emerges...

Hello Folks!
First post here, but thought I'd share a few pictures of my latest city.
I try to build as realistic as I can with the current tools available.
So to start off, here's a few pictures of the status a few days ago:

That's f****g great! Love it!

It makes me think about eastern countries cities, like Naberejnye Tchelny in Russia or even Slavoutytch in Ukraine.

My only disillusion is the last picture, the white and brown towers breaks all the design. They are too american on a russian like city. The one in the downtown is perfect, the kind of administrative tower many russian towns have in their downtown.

But that's really good!!

Yeah i know, theres a lack of good russian tallrise buildings. So they'll just have o do meanwhile...consider it a "americanisation" of the city ^^

Expansion continues. On the right hand side you can spot a part of a new a shopping complex.

Current status, to the right in the picture construcion of the railyard has started (not shown in this one though, more to come):

The railyard is almost complete! Still some detailing to do though;

The next project will be construction of the harbor.

New Update!
Just a few random pictures of the city. I've expanded the harbor abit with a new industrial area.
The next big project will be the airport.

One question: Are you not mostly using ploppable buildings? I am surprised by the low traffic and some residential buildings placement.

The Airport is almost finished:

The "T-shaped" terminal with a satellite terminal, where the ATC-tower is housed.
The aiport is connected by train, tram and buss.

The airport works as a DHL-hub for the whole reagion:
