a new AAR

Hi, I am going to make my first AAR soon but first I want to know what people want. Do you want a long AAR, or a short one. What country do you want to see. Do you want me to name all the events that happen or dou you want it in the style of first person.

This could also inspire other writers so please give me your ideas.

I have been wanting to do a scenario AAR, we dont see many of those here. Maybe start out small brad with a USA scenario where you start i think in 1776 or something and fight against the british. Everyone seems to start out in 1492 and soooo many of them dont finish the aar because its lots of work, its too bad. Remember to do an aar you can handle dont be like me and bite off more than you can chew though i promise to finish all of my AARs (promise is nullified if i die )

A scenario AAR would be cool. The Rev war might be interesting, or the 7 years war scenario (Prussia, anyone).

I have played this before i just want ideas and other peoples input.

Brad, if you have any but the NA version of the game than you can try writing an AAR for Kigdom of Cyprus.

Do a scenario and if you are doing the IGC be Finland.

I like the idea of doing a scenario, but don't do the Revolutionary War, it's too short and actually pretty hard to win (not really enough time to capture all the provinces you're supposed to capture). Try the War of Spanish Succession. I don't know why I picked that one, but it sounds interesting. Or maybe the Great Northern War.

I am thinking about starting the Great Northern war scenario as Sweden. Please tell me what you think and I might start it tommorow morning.

Great thing about the Age of Revolutions is that England gets Washington. Those colonial rebels soon got what for.

But wait! Aaarrgghh!! They're a bloody major now!

Here is a sneek peek for my AAR.

January 3rd-I decided to start this journal since Sweden was at war against Denmark, Russia, and Poland-Lithunia at the same time. I live in Livonia and I am signing up to the army. Our king Karl XII will take a small force from his western border over here to take on Russia and Poland-Lithunia. There I will join his army and we will atack the Russians and capture their capital of Moscow. Three-star general Arvid Horn will attack the trmendously huge danish force of 1,000 men with his 8,000 man army. Rehnskiold will take his 14,00O man army to attack Belaurus and force Polish to sign a peace agrement.

Here are some curent maps of the norhtern countries.


Febuary 3rd- Warchmeister defeats the Danish Naval force of 10 warships with his force
of 5 warships and 5 troop transports. There is great rejoicing in the city. Also Rehnskiod
assaults Belaurus for a quick defeat.

Febuary 6- Russia attacks Ingermanland our king is to far away to help stop the siege. Rumors are of a large Russian force of over 32,000 men is heading somewhere.

Febuary 11th- Many people are with fear because a Polish army arrived Kurland. Rehnskiod stops his assult of Kurland to try to head off Polish forces. They could head here at any moment. All the soldiers here try to help fortify the city.

Febuary 14th- Arvid horn’s forces arrive in Osterland and are attacking the Danish force.

Febuary 18th – It began with a scream at 3:00 in the morning a scout found a huge Russian force of 32,000 men and ten cannons out side the city gates. All the soldiers including me went to the walls to defend the city from attack. We put our 20 cannons up to the wall and began bombarding the Russian army. They began to shell us right back. Their forces are out side of our gun range so I can’t fire back.

Febuary 19th – those foolish Russians, after one day of shelling they began their assult. God help us.

Well, as I can see my vote doesn't count now, but since you are in the middle of a war, how about some military guidance. Your forces are trying to stop some 32,000 russsians with how many of your men???.

I should suggest you to try and break first the siege then take them off your land and maybe kick them in their own territory, but Sweden never won outnumbering anybody. Sweden won because their leaders where hard to press back. So try to get them out of your contry first, then restructure your defences, get a good navy and began a guerrilla warfare. This will get you money, for good alliances.

Make a backup army far from the borders, difficult to see is difficult to handle. Then when you can get your borders expanded you can take this 'demanding force' to make your plee directly in Moscow or what ever other place you want to go.

Well I don't know much about this, but I think that is what I would do. Remember that everybody wants Sweden, specially your exboss Denmark, so watch your back.
