As said, a "my court/barons and people in my court/demesne" option would be nice in the character-finder, as i dont see the full names and stats (attributes and stats) in my court list on the character screen.

That would come handy as it would be much quicker than its the case when all courts, mine and those of my direct vassals are packed (20+) with people.
I really dont understand why there is a search tab for "all", "realm" and (direct) "vassals" without one only for my demesne.

On the other hand, changing the court view in the character screen could solve my problem as well.

Somehow it seems to me, as if the person related stuff (info and interaction) was easier accessable in CK1.
I didnt have a problem with these big frames in CK1, neither did i find them ugly or badly designed.
Simply make the frames bigger for pop up windows or how you call it.
It probably shows that i'm not a fan of these bubbles/circles.
Sorry for the little rant and question.

Hopefully somebody "official" reads this.
Hugs, thanx for reading.

:)

Please comment, any is appreciated.

Thoughts ? Support, shitstorm, anything ? Am i cunning or stupid to ask for this? Is it useful or useless ?
I know that its not urgently necessary, but it would make things easier sometimes.
Any comments appreciated.

Well one of the more annoying things is that the realm/vassal filters EXCLUDE your court (hmm, highest intrigue in the realm is 15? But my spymaster is 19...).

You can sort of work around it some of the time by pretending to select a new spymaster.

But I agree, there are times you want to look at the stats of people in your court, (and if you are a vassal, the part of the realm you control) and theres no easy way to do so.

Wow, didnt even recognise this. The characterfinder is rather irritating, indeed. Why are the appointed ones not seen ?

Its not only stats, but if i want to marry away some umarried and useless courtiers, because my court became so big that they die rather fast, then i'd really need that feature to solve this problem faster.
Point is, i miss the easy accessible court and character page from CK1. I'm sorry to be nostalgic, but its definitely not as quick and easy as in CK1 and i doubt that it's nostalgic false recollection. I might check CK1 again and compare it.

edit: ...and i need it when i want nonydynastical children to be educated by the right peron to get the a good diplomat/spymaster etc., the regular court view is not really helpfull in giving the necessary information.

Yeah, the exclusion of your court from the realm finder can sometimes make you miss otherwise great brides or tutors.

For me, I find the "ruler yes/no" option largely useless. I care more whether he or she is landed at all than independent. Non-rulers sometimes produce a long list of landed people, especially when you sort by learning when looking for a bishop candidate.

I'd take an "Actually functional character ledger DLC" over a "Pushing timeline 400 years back Pagan DLC" any day (and I've been dying for years for a game set during 500s-700s for a change).

How about adding "your dynasty" to "great houses" filter?

How about adding "counts and above", "kings and above" etc to "rulers only" filter? ("only mayors" and "only barons" would help too)

How about adding "has kids" to "married" filter? Better yet, "has male kids". And while we are there, "has no kids" might come useful too.

How about having age filters more customizable than "is over 15"?

How about searching for or filtering out specific traits?

How about filtering out heirs? And not just immediate heirs we have to point at their portrait to find out, but 2nd and 3rd in succession we have to enter their character sheet to find out.

How about filtering children above 6 with no guardians? How about filtering children of your culture with foreign guardians, so they can be delivered from their corruption?

And last but definitely not least, how about ordered sorting, so when you first sort by opinion and then by rank (for example), the people within the same rank are still sorted in the order of their opinion? Computers were able to do that back in 1970s.

AAArrrrgh!

I know I am coming unnecessarily aggressive, but it has been bugging me a lot. The ledger is pretty much dysfunctional if you spend your 400 years as anything better than a count-baron of Finnmark (in b4 "that's the only way you should play, you gamist powergamer blobber!"). Taking on the fullstrength mongol doomstack is faster and easier than looking for a caretaker of your newest acquirement as a, hmm, guy from your dynasty, not older than 30, with at least average stats, content or at least not ambitious, not terminally ill, not matrimarried, with at least one male heir, and not poised to inherit something else half a world across unless bombs fall there.

For a game about matchmaking and placing right people in right places, the UI guys could sure get some tips from matchmaking or headhunting websites...

I would kill for a filter that let me know the claims and possible inheritances of the character. I never want to give a courtier land if he's likely to inherit elsewhere or has claims on other titles.
