(User interface changes)
Tweak 1. Dedicated pause button so you can mash it to pause the game without fear of being un-paused (Especially when the game is “processing” such as during the tick of the month or autosave).
Tweak 2. Enable un-queuing of movement paths/ cutting off army’s path short without manually stopping them once we think that the army will not attempt to take an alternative “shorter” route that does not take into account the amount of progress made the current province being marched to. Alternatively, pathing takes into account the amount of progress towards the current province being marched to when calculating the shortest path to another province.
Tweak 3. Tooltip that shows date of arrival also shows date of arriving in the final destination for allied/player controlled armies.
Tweak 4. Mapmode that shows the distance between a province and their neighboring provinces in terms of the number of days it takes a 0 maneuver army to walk between them.
[If you could program a tool that allowed you to calculate the distance/traveling time between any 2 provinces with a zero maneuver/ leaderless army, that would probably function even better. I do not know if shift left click serves any purpose.]
(Gameplay changes)
Tweak 5. Always allow people to always transfer occupation to the war leader. The war leader is the one that peaces out everyone, so the player can’t force AI to take provinces they can’t core since the AI should be programmed not to take it (if they are war leader) and if a human is the war leader, then they can not transfer occupation to the AI on things the AI does not want/can not core.
Tweak 6. [Dependent on Tweak 5] I’m not sure how/if the code has changed from 1.8 to 1.9, but if the AI no longer gives you provinces you occupy but do not have core/claim on, let them return to giving you provinces you have don’t have cores or claims on but occupy and do not transfer (since tweak 5 lets you transfer away provinces you occupy but do not wish to take).
Tweak 7. Allow transfer of occupation as long as ally is in coring range of said province (given that the Ai now 100% rejects return unlawful territory, and the coring check, this should be ok). If not wholly implemented, please do something about islands and overseas colonies.
Some text descriptions are unclear, so I made a video to clarify/ point at the things mentioned. Text is probably clearer overall because I am sick.
