Hmmm. And my Grandfather's nickname was "Dutch" because nobody could understand him when he talked....

On the AAR topic -- I hope your militia units are well stock-piled with Molotov cocktails and have dug their tank traps, because the panzers are on their way!

Wow people still following this? I'm sorry I have been so busy at university, I will really try to get a new update out!

That would be great as you are really telling us a nice story and I am looking foreward to see what happens in the north in particular.

Something I'm surprised I hadn't thought of till now, but I was born in a town called Holland, in the state of Michigan. Most of the people in the town are of Dutch ancestry (I myself am mostly Bohemian, with a scattering of other nationalities: Danish, Norwegian, German, Swiss, Irish and English. But no Dutch. My parents came from Wisconsin, and we moved back blah blah blah), and every year we had a festival called Tulip Time. Alot of kids had a traditional Dutch costume, including me, complete with the Wooden Shoes. It was alot of fun, sadly I grew out of those shoes quite fast. Anyways I'm sure nobody really cares, but I felt like saying it anyways.

That's nice. :) Did you know many of our traditions are better kept alive in our Michigan colony then they are back home?
