I dont play a lot but I do tend to have a good back and for game that lasts for a long time whilst slowly expanding.

But playing as Cornwall with all DLC I seem to have hit quite a literal brick wall.. Im surrounded by independents so even though I have CB /DJ claims I simply cant go to war.. I cant even decalre war on the liege of the next county (Independent Devon) even though its my nephew because everyone related to anything I have a claim on has become independent

Im a little suspicious I have f'd up my game as I finally plunged for Conclave (the only DLC I had missing)in the weekend sale and I'm wondering if thats messed up something.

So is there a solution re Imdependents - I thought it was war on the liege but I cant even do that

If they're of the same dynasty as yours then you need high prestige to attack them.

I'm pretty sure this was changed; being part of the same dynasty no longer means you're automatically in an NAP/Alliance.

Ah K ..Will stick at it a bit longer.. Odd it doesnt appear in the Tooltip though I would never have thought of that

Do you happen to have a truce or a NAP with any of them?

EDIT: Actually, can we just get a screenshot?

I think you may have misunderstood the tooltip. You can ONLY declare war on independents. I'm having difficulty ascertaining the problem you're having, if you provide a screenshot of the tooltip it might be easier to understand.
