A List of Interesting Female Characters

Would you consider putting the women in alphabetic order after religion as well as rewriting the structure of some of the entries to match the rest? It's rather disorganised right now, but can be easily fixed.

The list has been revamped! The ladies are now in alphabetical order by dynasty name, so it should be easier to find one you're looking for. Also, lots of things were tidied up. Unfortunately, a few people on the list had to be removed, like Constance de Hauteville, who wasn't a queen regnant at all.
EDIT: Wikipedia links have been added where possible! (That means only a couple rulers don't have them.)

Actually we have been looking into giving the glory and praise Matilda she and many other ladies deserve. Any female ruler will be able to lead her own armies now actually with 2.4.

Hopefully there will be a few restrictions so we don't see every duchess leading her own levy, that would be a bit strange. Highly prestigious, skilled or independent rulers are another story.

Teresa Jimena duchess of Porto - from the 22nd may 1112. Is married and is mother to the first king of Portugal. She is a bastard, so will need to be made legitimate and either kill her son or change the succession law and divorce her husband. She is allied to the queen of Castile and king of Aragon (half-sister and kinsmen).

Isabelle de Mellent - from 1183. She is 11 at the start, but can change the start date to be later when she is older. Has 1 county in England and 2 in Wales. With enough money can be a duchess at the start.

UPDATE: Nope. Couldn't find anyone when I started as a Turkish count, then searched for female Turkish rulers. Are you sure?

Last time I checked Sigelgaita di Salerno was around in the 1066 and Alexiad starts and is a Brilliant Strategist with super high martial skill. She doesn't start as a ruler (she's the wife of friendly ol' Robert Guiscard) but I think she has pressable claims and can be landed that way. She starts with a regrettable non-dynastic heir (Roger Borsa), but she was a total CK2 player in real life with all sorts of insane martial feats and death murder inheritance plots so that's no obstacle. Can you surpass your husband by becoming Queen of Sicily? (he was never more than double duke IRL because of problems with popes, tarantulas, etc.)

Sichelgaita, unfortunately, never ruled in her own right, so it is impossible to start as her. But she is badass and I'm hoping an exception is made for her soon so she can lead armies!
