If this is the release date why hasnt the DLC been given a pre order page on steam yet? Or at least a name?

So that means -- this Announcement thread was a Release Date Announcement of the Release Date of the Release Date. (say all that 3 times fast...)
They said some time during the Africa DLC that they still have plans for EU4, so im assuming its not the final DLC.

I don't think it's a release date; they've specifically said that they're avoiding announcing a release date to make sure they don't end up pressed for time in their bug-fixing (which is the right decision!). Also I've never heard of a release date announcement including the time of day.

They meant it announcing too early, the built is already frozen, if not about to be frozen. I mean, they most likely won't randomly release it a few days before the announcement like for the Northern Lords for CK3.
As for the Origins, it was announced 3 weeks before the release, we can most likely expect something similar here. I think it will either be 8th or 15th September.
Since we're already talking Wild Theory and Speculation here, why not just go full-on Jurassic Park?
- Maybe former King Christian II's blood was found preserved in Amber, and the scientists at Paradox have successfully cloned a human test-tube baby, who will soon be crowned the new King of Sweden.
Of course, that introduces the problem of whether the proper title should remain Christian II* (but we can provide the proper Asterisk, of course).
*The presentation of Christian II is not the actual Christian II but a genetic clone with frog DNA to bridge the gaps.
