Hmm, this might be it. But announcing the DLC date that day sounds more likely. I can't see them releasing DLC when they're on summer vacation (the EU4 department starts their's soon right?) and will not be able to do hotfixes. I am probably overthinking this lol.

Do they still have a summer holiday? I believe the lack of heat during the rest of the year was the reason for extended summer holidays in Sweden. Now EU4 DLC is done by a Spain based studio though, surely a summer holiday isn't as important there?

There won't be an EUV announcement until we get all the immersion packs released. It can't be expected earlier than late 2023.

Also, if euv (and/or c:s2) COULD have been announced around that time, they would've done it at pdxcon with plenty of hints, like for imperator and ckiii and vickyiii.

Pdx clearly isn't afraid to announced more than a year in advance, apparently
