So, I've been trying to do two things at once in my Greater Armenia game: get myself to imperial government form, and move my noble obligations to 100% tax.
Obviously, I can't vote on new laws every five seconds, so I've been focusing on removing council power. I've got them down to nothing but the ability to vote.
Five minutes after I call a council vote on a change (by extending favors), another vassal will call in my favor and demand a vote... on moving noble obligations towards taxes. Normally, I'd be blocking such a move, but in this case, I want the law change. But I can't seem to vote yes on the law change, because my vassal used a favor on me to get the council to vote.
Am I just missing a "vote yes on proposition 3" button for the liege? Or is the game just assuming that my ruler, by definition, would vote against a law change? I know I'm voting no, because I'm on the no list. But I'd really like
the law to pass.
Help?
