@ Le Jones: Trust me, I had quite a lot of interest about our favourite peer even before finding your AAR, but, after meeting "your" Halifax, "my" Edward is going to have a great role in this AAR, as I posted some chapters ago.

As PM or as something else, but he is going to have a lot to say.

Well, in my 'imagining' of the KR world, Churchill dies at the barricades, fighting during the General Strike (can't you just see him leading soldiers against the strikers?), and I don't see the Chamberlains becoming nearly so prominent (as Chamberlain's rise was tied to the fall of the Lloyd George gov't, which obviously happens differently in KR). Thus I have to give my vote to Halifax, though with an objection to how Beaverbrook was brushed aside!
