Meh, the other stuff is really nice. It's just the immigration that's really... irksome.
Pretty much the only things that I think are left to fix, along with maybe some RGOs.1. Forming La Plata
2. Forming Gran Columbia
4. Decision to end the monarchy as Brazil.
5. No Unique decision to form Romania. It happened in the game's time frame but it will never happen in game because for some strange reason it's assumed that it's possible for a AI romanian country to end up being a great power, and beat Austria to form. You know to form with territories it didn't need to form historically.
Cores for Ethnic States: There's no cores or culture group for , Kurdish,Piratini Republic,
Things that are still broken
Colonial Migration:
Foreign investment: If anyone doesn't know this you can shut down someone's factories using the foreign investment tab. This seems like a glaring oversight on paradox's end. Unless it was intended to allow you to purposefully destroy factories in other civilized countries because you're a great power.
I would like to play as an Indian sub-state and kick out the British but it is proving impossible to get out of the sphere of influence. Is there something I am missing?

Why when I build a factory and then cancel the building, I receive more money that I initially spend for that factory??? I mean when you start game with France for example, change the rulling party and then build a cement factory, then cancel it... You will see that you will pay for it around 4K and you will receive 5K when you ill cancel immediately... Why that? It's my game only or it's a big BUG?
PS: sorry for my bad english
Blame Microsoft for that one, tbh, it's SOP since Windows Vista and 7 throw wild tantrums about saving to program files when the User Protection stuff is switched on. And Podcat has already posted a user override for it.
Whats is the exact problem with immigration?
I have played a few games and it did seem a bit arbitrary (as in most people choose the country with most social and political reforms), but apart from that I encountered no serious issues.
A bigger problem I noticed was about colonial emigration that depopulated my core states.
Can you post a link to the post in which he says how?
its intended. all new savegames/settings etc go in your documents folder under Paradox Interactive\Victoria II
it makes things much neater if you have multiple people using the computer, and less problems writing files if you install in protected directories. All our new games will follow this model.
if you dont like it you can get it working like before by setting a custom directory. just make a file called userdir.txt in the games directory and put a single dot(.) in it. that will make he game check for all files in its directory instead. I do recommend using the new way however. its much better
What about adding in Kurdistan though? There's Kurdish population, and yet there is absolutely no kurdish cores for some reason. I can understand not adding in more cultures, but why not have Kurdistan? Or rather add in the cores for the major missing releasable countries? There's no Basque country, but there are basque people. I don't know I just have issues with the fact that there's some fairly 'important' ethnic groups that have absolutely no representation.
Admittedly, I highly doubt they'll ever add in Piratini republic. So, I don't mind that. Still want La Plata, and Gran Columbia in the base game. South America is really bland.
Oh, I forgot to mention this.
Map Cache, and Saves are now in a document so you can't have multiple copies of Victoria 2. I strongly dislike this, but it's really only a big deal if you like having more than one copy of victoria 2 on the same computer.
3) Population growth is a bit over the top
The official name of the country at the time was the Republic of Colombia. Historians have adopted the term Gran Colombia to distinguish this republic from the present-day Republic of Colombia, which began using the name in 1863, although many use Colombia where confusion would not arise.
Don't worry about the quality of your language skills, do worry about breaking rules vis-a-vis racism and foul language. Read the forum rules please.
i'm not one to normally disagree with mods but what did he say that was foul mouthed or racist? I dont even think he mentioned a race other then the French (who he gave no opinion on) and there really doesnt seem to be anything wrong with his post.
