Party Focus: This is cool, I just wish it actually did something substantial.

After playing three games with Chile, I can say it is pretty overpowered. In short it allows you to chose the ideology you want to have in power after an election. Makes it quite easy to switch to radical parties or select liberals/conservatives to run the economy.
Want a fascist USA? No problem.
Liberals as democratic Chile? Easy.

Whats is the exact problem with immigration?
I have played a few games and it did seem a bit arbitrary (as in most people choose the country with most social and political reforms), but apart from that I encountered no serious issues.

A bigger problem I noticed was about colonial emigration that depopulated my core states.

Foreign investment: If anyone doesn't know this you can shut down someone's factories using the foreign investment tab. This seems like a glaring oversight on paradox's end. Unless it was intended to allow you to purposefully destroy factories in other civilized countries because you're a great power.

yeah this is one that slipped through. AI will never do it so if you do it you are exploiting only I fixed it already so it will be in 2.2.

I'm still bugged that the popup event thing for 'soldier discipline' with 'strict or strictest' still doesn't give any kind of combat bonus...

Well, it doesn't have anything to do with combat...

Frederick the Great, Julius Caesar, any WWII German General and many others would agree with you but would be more strongly opinionated.

Except the event is about the treatment non accepted culture soldier pops. It affects the pop's Mil and Con, it has NOTHING to do with combat or actual raised brigades, which is why it doesn't affect it.

Can I trouble you for an answer as to why it is so awfully difficult to play as an Indian state ? Huge penalties for going to war even with non-"British aligned" neighbours? I also can not work out anyway even with cheating to remove a state from the SOE of the British East India Company.

What penalties do you mean? infamy? by East india company do you mean Britain proper or are you playing a mod?
