It's to do with businesses hours. Steam is USA based while Gamersgate is based in Stockholm, and Stockholm time zones are much earlier. I also believe that Paradox still get some unofficial favorable treatment with regards to priority with Gamersgate since Paradox started it. Steam is much larger and will get to Paradox games when they get there.
I feel bad for those who thought it was a professional company.
Make sure to use GG for CK2 or expect more of the same. Nothing new w/steam.
That is what I'm doing. I would get AHD on GG but I already have Vic2 and DLC on steam.
