I don't believe they did, no. And that is of course a thing.
Episodes 9 and 10 pending and will be Live later today![]()
Are those the last episodes? Episode 8 ended in 1462, and you said you formed the HRE in 1469, so it shouldn't be much longer.

Yes, I revoke the Privilegia in Episode 9 and finish the achievement in episode 10.Are those the last episodes? Episode 8 ended in 1462, and you said you formed the HRE in 1469, so it shouldn't be much longer.
I didn't finish until 1500... BUT I did get the full Burgundy inheritance, France is in a PU with me, and Scotland and Naples are my vassals. Am I on track for a WC?
As long as you didn't revoke the last reform so you have the vassal swarm, you should be good. The world is at your feetI didn't finish until 1500... BUT I did get the full Burgundy inheritance, France is in a PU with me, and Scotland and Naples are my vassals. Am I on track for a WC?

Add protectorate spamming to this and you're not far offyup I tried something similar but didn't push really aggressively for conquest. This is where I am in 1679.

Yes that was the right choice...^I'd take that heir... 12pt monarch w/ strong claim will far outperform the temporary hit you take on legitimacy.
klingonadmiral [...]
The thing is, my troops didn't fight a single real battle, only seeing combat when crushing either newly recruited regiments or routing armies retreating from the battles taking place north. By just sieging a few Hungarian provinces, I went from like 35k or whatever Austria start with to 382 or so, and the war wasn't even long. I don't even know. Also, I absolutely despise mercs. I HATE not being in absolute control of my army composition, it's the single reason why I absolutely despise CK2.
How do mercs remove control of your army composition?
So instead of hiring all possible mercs you hire only those you want to. This means you have less of them but doesn't mean you can't use them at all.At least, as a western nation, I have the choice between multiple different unit types each time a new unit level is unlocked. Mercs a) use unit types all over the place (makes sense, because they probably come from all over the place) and b) might even use outdated units. And I want the game to respect my choice to have unit type 1, and not unit type 2, in my armies. I don't want that stupid Condotta Infantry, I chose the Landsknechts.
