Just wondering if I am the only one in Forum plagued by a horrible display problem. Seems it doesn't matter where I write in Forum, always in edit mode all the text at the last 1/3 of any line will visibly repeat itself at the start of next line. So what I see is a constant stream of truncated sentence bits injected throughout everything.
But they don't exist. If I place cursor to begin deletion of that repetitive portion and do a single back space, that whole repeated part instantly disappears. It also instantly disappears if I try to select the duplicated part.
The other problem is placing the cursor. It never inserts where my mouse pointer indicates, but always one space to the side.
Seems to me it is actually Forum doing this. But not sure... maybe Casper has returned!
As a quick clarification of what I see in edit mode - using very short line length to make this simple - might be:
One day I decided to do a Forum post and noticed
and noticed there was a problem with my edit display
my edit display so I did a different Forum post to try
post to try and find out why.
It makes it a bit frustrating to edit (or even read properly to decide what to edit) but I have actually lived with it so long I believe my eyes have totally adjusted to it. Still, it's pretty weird. Only happens in Forum. Thank goodness my compositions in Word Doc, Outlook and anything else including chat on other web sites all normal.
