A flag making thread?

Canadian fascist flag (real, not my invention). X was, obviously, a swastika.

Brazil could use the Integralists in the place of fascists. They were pretty much our own brand of fascism, and they even had a IMO quite cool symbol, a uppercase Sigma.
Possible flags could be these:
Although Vargas had some fascist tendencies, his Estado Novo pretty much just used *everyone* to stay as much time as possible in power, and he is the starting president of Brazil either way, so he probably should get the neutral, almost-current(only difference is the number of stars) Brazilian flag. I think a full fasci... I mean, Integralist takeover would involve Plínio Salgado taking Vargas down and proclaiming himself president.
A communist flag might be trickier. I think Vic2's flag would be sactisfactory. It pretty much just has the Brazilian presidential flag, but red instead of yellow and green, at the center.

Wikipedia lists them as fascist, so I guess they'll do.

amazing isn't it. after i started playing HOI 3 i developed a total fascination with flags. my deviantart profile even has a section in favorites for flags and emblems. #obsessedmuch?

I do think the 'biker' cross is a good replacement for the swastika on the flags. I know it might just seem like the same thing over & over again, but I prefer a more historical flag with some type of cross or x than a made up flag.

Cool, I'm very curious, if they look good on a flag. I guess, they are way better than simple crosses. 
It doesn't actually look too much like a swastika
I think it could be used. (This though is just a quick prototype)

Alone a wooden rod is weak, but when combined together in a bundle, they become strong.

TheRomanRuler is correct as well as the Roman symbolism is the rods are for corporal punishment & the axe is for the death penalty that a Roman magistrate (or the State) had. For corporal punishment they would have had people make 2 lines & give each person a rod and the person to be punished had to walk between them and would be beaten with the rod. They would just chop off the head with the axe. The U.S. Founding Fathers admired the Roman Republic (which had no one Ruler ) and not Fascism that Mussolini later developed from Socialism.

i kinda like that design. it'd be good to some kind of true stand-in for the nazi swastika while otherwise maintaining accuracy. it's not like stuff like this hasn't been used before somewhere
It is a good stand-in for the swastika. I fully understand from a 'wargame' point of view the details of different political ideologies don't need to be in the game. Also at the time party labels were different in different countries. I do think it is important that they don't just put a fasces on a national flag. So if a country used National Socialist symbols for their modern far-right Fascist/Nazi party there should be the flag they used with a swastika stand-in in the correct place.

it probably wouldn't really help. when you think fascism + WWII, the swastika generally isn't too far from the mind. and with an completely fictional or ahistorical flag involving fascism, a nazi reference is a bit hard to avoid.
though for a list anyway, i'd say every country west of the urals.
