A flag making thread?

Here are my mock ups for Finnish fascist flag

German war flag is scandinavian cross like Finnish national flag, so i just changed red to more Finnish blue (same shade as in Finnish blue cross flag), removed iron cross and replaced Swastika with Finnish symbol.
I quite like the results.
But since i think Finnish would have preferred something bit more simple, here is another variant of the same concept

I removed outer layer of white from the cross.

The simorgh flag of the SUMKA party is a good option, they were a 50's party dedicated to Nazism and Hitler worship, I will put their flag here but the mod may feel free to remove it

Another option would be the fravahr on the tricolour as shown hhere

And, of course there is the current flag which would probably fit into neutral but the OTL flag is there, so if the OT government is not considered neutral then this could be used or, again te blank tricolour could be used

We only have neutral if the nation starts as neutral, nobody can go from fascist to neutral etc atm

i doubt it. factions (at least for the purpose of WWII) are really just military alliances. ideology doesn't neccessarily matter

Accurate. The Fascist Canadian flag was a red swastika in a white circle in a blue field. You could replace the swastika with a normal cross, or a red maple leaf.

Democratic would be the Red Ensign. The current flag has no place in HoI.

Greece is a tricky story. The flag after the revolution against the Ottoman Empire was based on the flag of the East India Company, only with different colours. Some were claiming that the nine stripes were a symbol of a Greek motto during the revolution as it has also nine syllables, but it's debatable.

As far as I am aware neither the Communists nor the fascists (as it represents a cross) had plans of changing the flag but I understand that game mechanics require such changes. The Greek communist flag should be like the one below. As for the fascists I have no idea, as historically they didn't change it at all.

For the Fascists, you could either use the Junta's flag (same as current, but darker blue) or the Monarchist flag (blue flag with white cross)

If the monarchist flag were to be used, I would personally like to see the crown removed.

So I threw together some flags for Poland.

Communist:

I used the coat of arms of the People's Republic of Poland, a Soviet-esque red, and a red star.

Fascist:

I avoided overt militaristique imagery seeing as Poland is authoritarian/fascist from the start. I made the red more crimson, which was preferred by the army, and defaced the flag with the 1927-1939 coat of arms.

The democratic/republican flag would be the simple bicolour of the Second Republic (white + red).

Rumania would pretty much have the plain tricolour, no coat of arms, for all governments except the communist one, where it would use the RPR flag.

Might I suggest putting a red lightning bolt through the white circle, or a white lighting bolt through a red circle. A sort of inverted version of the British union of Fascists? page: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_the_British_Union_of_Fascists.svg

BUF imagery might work quite well for Commonwealth HoI countries that have no acceptable or historical fascist flag.

Putting a red Maple Leaf in the middle of the Canadian National Unity Party flag would make it look too much like the Royal Canadian Air Force, and I'd hate to see the two symbols made out to be similar.

Rumania kept the flag even during the fascist regime, so my advice is against it if we're aiming for historical accuracy.
