first off i love most of the new mechanics, the Marches are awesome when they actually fabricate claims.
but i played as Milan, fully annexed Switzerland and then released them as a march and fed them most of Burgundy and some France. Austria (my ally from day 1) forms the HRE and I leave the HRE. Now, Switzerland has been my vassal/march for somewhere around 200 years...yet when i leave they, and my other vassals become vassals of the the Emperor. now in ALLLLL my hours spent playing EU4 this is the first time Austria or anyone else has formed the HRE so i dont know, but shouldnt MY vassals do whatever I do in terms of leaving or staying? I mean i built Switzerland up to be a monster march with 60K troops, now they just switch over to being a vassal of HRE??? i dont get it.
also, i think the mechanics of the Reformation Wars are a little off...im not exactly sure why, but Naples, Tuscany and a host of other Catholic nationals with great relations with the Emperor joined on the side of the Protestants. Shouldnt they be on the side of the Catholic League??
