With the new update to major powers I propose a rework to the AI of the Ottomans and the Castilians. The selanika event chain only fires when Castil has fully eliminated granada (as was historically accurate), therefore I propose a Castilian AI towards that is more favorable to the 'Alhambra Decree' which triggers the expulsion of jews in the selanika event. Castile mostly does defeat granada, but they rarely take the 'Alhambra Decree' decision.

I would also like to propose that the ottomans be overwhelmingly favorable to the acceptance of jewish refugees (as the really were) with perhaps an 80% chance of support by the AI.

This would make the selanika event chain more likely to fire which would be more historically accurate and create another avenue to play jewish, since right now the only way is custom or ethiopia. Seeing as jewish was updated 'relatively' recently and this is going to be one of the last patches. This seems like a good time to fix it.

And while we're on jews in the ottoman empire there should really be an event for Sabbatai Zevi. He was a hugely influential Jewish man who claimed to be the messiah. He even tried to overthrow the sultan. There should be an event on handling him and perhaps have the opportunity to make him an adviser.

Since I already have suggestion about Ottomans out there I figured why spam another and chose to just rename this and include multiple notes on the Ottomans. (If you have any suggestions for the ottomans please share them even if its not related to mine)

This has been mentioned before multiple times but it really needs addressing and since this is probably the last major change to the ottomans its time. We know that prior to WW1 Anatolia was about 1/3 greek and orthodox and especially in 1444 it definitely had majority greek and majority orthodox regions. I wouldn't claim that all of Anatolia was, but certainly some provinces were. Most notable is sugla (aka izmir) the largest greek city in asia. But also some other provinces on the northern coast like sinop which had been home to greek populations for over 1000 years.

Please address this in the patch.
