Hello all!. This thread is about some of the whacky quirks of EU4 and my story of the last 50 years of the game as Revolutionary France and to hear other whacky stories that you all have to share.
For starters, when I was playing my French game and I converted to Revolutionary, my colonies gained some interesting names such as Revolutionary Revolutionary Mexico. However, my all time favorite is the one in the attachment. The x10 Revolutionary French Louisiana. I guess Louisiana really loves to start a Revolution. The second part of the campaign is when I invaded a combined Korea and Manchu and annexed all both countries. Oh boy, the amount of rebels I got from that. Over 500k particularists and 300k peasants rose up in Paris and all my random colonies around the world rising up in revolt in single unison with the Korean and Manchu separatists being over 100k strong. I believe half the country rose up into essentially civil war because Korea and Manchu were annexed and my overextension went through the roof. Why the country wanted to revolt so badly for Korea and Manchu, I am not really sure but they can have their way I suppose. This also brings me to the question. What was the largest overextension and rebel stack you've ever seen? The last story I have is how I got Napoleon Bonaparte in 1753 where he spawned at age 53 and promptly died the next month leaving nobody in line for the throne except a random general. A true conquering hero he was. What interesting stories do you all have to share, I'd love to hear them!
