Hey guys,

I'm currently playing Cebu to secure it, and I have a good start, steadily working towards the goal itself, but I have a few questions which I'd like to resolve before proceeding.

1. Can I form Malaya? I can't find any information on it, but forming Malaya would benefit me a ton, obviously, so I'm asking.
2. Which ideas should i go for? I'm thinking quantity first, but afterwards I am uncertain. Ternate can colonise around thanks to their mission tree so I think about leaving them to colonise stuff while i conquer.
3. When should i go after Ming? I wanna try blockading and destroying them, but i need to make sure i can achieve it first.

Thanks in advance!

According to the wiki you have to stay as Cebu for the achievement, so forming any other tag js sadly out of the question.

As for ideas, Quantity seems like a solid choice, you'll need armies and manpower to go after the land you need for the achievement, and especially the Southern Indian lands will be a pain to conquer manpower wise, given the high attrition and forts galore you'll face there. Diplomatic might be a good choice too later on, to help with province warscore (you'll conquer more in one go, shortening the run), and the extra diplomats could go a long way in fabricating claims (I doubt Cebu has an extensive tree which would help with the achievement). Expansion could be useful too, to eventually allow yourself to colonize, and it also gives a merchant to help you move trade along. If you get into Indochina, and eventually into South China as well to pick up the pieces of Ming, you should move your trade capital (or your capital itself) to the Malaya node to collect trade there, allowing you to TC the Philippines, the Spice Islands, Indochina and South China, and you'll be swimming in money.

As for Ming, you are close to the Age of Reformation where he'll eventually face the Crisis of the Ming dynasty disaster, that's when you should strike and help him along the route of explosion if he doesn't achieve it on his own.

Yea, plus i'll be running a mil point surplus with this ruler, so it makes sense

Diplomatic might be a good choice too later on, to help with province warscore (you'll conquer more in one go, shortening the run), and the extra diplomats could go a long way in fabricating claims (I doubt Cebu has an extensive tree which would help with the achievement)
True, tho i could also opt to feed vassals and use their claims to expand. I might think about it as the second idea group

Expansion could be useful too, to eventually allow yourself to colonize, and it also gives a merchant to help you move trade along.
Thing is, i have Ternate whose mission tree offers colonists, so its less important to invest in expansion. Granted the provinces in the area could be pretty profitable, especially if i get a lucky gold one

Once I start dominating the Malacca mode imma try to do that, it could be pretty intense, especially as im doubling down on the eastern plutocracy playstyle.

Oh yeah, i totally forgot about that one, thanks!

you can always sieze province from your vassal/march if it's gold. One low development province wouldn't hurt liberty desire to much
At some point I would consider humanist or religious, you need many heathen provinces and it will cause unrest
You can switch your culture to chinese and take chinese kingdom government reform for easier expansion in China

It's not for this run but you can get achievement playing as released vassal so you can start as Ming, vassalize Cebu, give it many provinces, integrate Cebu and release to play as vassal. If you release other Ming vassals you will be able to expand without problems.
