((So as long as the Radicals remain loyal, the coup will fail you're saying. What if the Radicals switched and there were general strikes across the Federation. Not saying anything, I just like injecting paranoia across the Federation~))

((At what point will all this coup-politicking have its effect? Because I don't want too much to happen while I'm asleep))

((Then there would be a bloodbath, is my guess.))

((So I barely have any idea what's going on ATM, so I'm just going to say this and watch how things are going.))

I support the coup. This political dealing has gone on long enough, and must be stopped immediately before even more chaos is brought to the Federation.

~Baron Bastiaan von und zu Schäßburg

Amiable on the outside, on the inside, depends on how tense the situation is. ((Yeah, I had a feeling it was a forlorn hope :p I have a new business, asking possibly soon to be dead characters who could become much more strategic and useful as new characters))
That describes practically every casual relationship since God created the heavens and the earth. I can see you are bent on unhelpfulness, Councillor.

Years ago, my father fought to make the Danubian Federation, and I too now have the chance to fight for a revolutionary cause. Now I see two pathways: Either one that will allow a corrupt government to exist, or one that will take rule away from civilians. I do not agree with either. I do, however, have a chance to ensure that this military government will one day give up its power once our great Federation has been saved. Therefore, in order to end corruption and ensure the continuity of democracy, I will SUPPORT this coup.
-General Elias DeSanctis
((Lol, Monecigo has been reincarnated instantly.))

You are a disgrace to His Serenity.

((*bursts into flames*))

I am officially becoming neutral to this action. Many of my constituents support this coup, but I cannot make my final action without some deliberation.

((WHAT? This entire coup is because I appointed you General after dismissing Marsyak.))

(Hey Ab Ovo, you may want to clear you PM box in case anyone has to contact you, especially with your new character making his appearance.)
((Clear))

((you guys do realise this coup is going to kill the federation... The turks + if the military dictatorship stays long enough my allies will result in a total an utter blood bath... Oh well guess ill be the only politican left lol; Checkmate?))

Councillor, I do not worry about your opinion seeing as you are a puppet of the Doge who can barely breathe under the weight of all the gold you have while people outside your estate starve.

((Hehe. Now you are the new one. :p))

((U mad? Maybe you killed off your character to save him the humiliation of being executed after this coup is over~?))

5 generals! Man we are making great progress, and here I thought we were going to lose! Surrender loyalist, there is no escape. Victor, while we don't have any identified industrialist on our side ((as far as I know)) we do have some aristocrats, myself included. We will simply take control of the already built factories and worry about building more in due time. Our industry will stay intact with the radicals at our backs and the military keeping order while the few of the rich class who made the right choice will reap the huge profits.

This is it gentlemen, I declare that I'm now neutral in regards to this coup. This madness sickens me but I don't think I can support either side in this coup. My family and I shall be going to our house in Milan so that I may convince the state government of Lombardia to remain a part of the Federation no matter the outcome of this coup.

((Well the Generals don't control the industry, so they could be in some deep strife. Also just reposting what I said on the other page because it was quickly swamped by everything else.))

Hello Councillor Tiepolo, there is indeed a rebellion going on. As I did with your predeccessor, I extend my hand in friendship.

As for the Generals I wish to make a certain fact clear. We, the members of the A-DCP, control much of the industry of this federation. Most of Austria's industry is under my personal control, specifically the armaments industry. Other state's industries are owned by their respective members of the A-DCP (who have/had the money to invest in industry) thanks to their occupations as capitalists or aristocrats. The Radicals claim to be the voice of the workers. They have influence across the federation, notably in heavy industrial areas such as Bohemia.

The point I am trying to make is that even if this coup were to succeed, the industry of the Federation would be frozen. I doubt your troops would remain loyal if they have no food to eat, weapons to wield nor clothes to wear. You may beat our armies but you cannot be our industry.

Well seeing as the army in milan is now on our side I implore you to reconsider.

EDIT: ((Otto have you cleared this with GM? i don't think he'll like you destroying all of us :p))

You think the Generals will let you reap any benefits? You believe that the Radicals will allow their workers to oppressed by a military Junta? I would rather destroy all I have built than surrender it to the Generals.

Victor, I will see to it that you aren't killed but you honestly don't think you can really imbalance us so much that we will fail do you? the coup is destined to win. what's that noise in the distance? Is that the sound of marching? It is already coming, abandon your stance since so many around you already have.

Ion walks into the chambers haggard, wearing his ceremonial Transylvanian Boier garb

I hereby dissolve the government, the military has utterly and completely betrayed the government. As such, I will not plunge this country, this beautiful nation which I love, into war and anarchy. In order to regain my honour I challenge General Masaryk to a duel. I hope elections will solve this truly and finally.

((Btw, I hate you all. I was going to have the most productive and democratic administration, which you all destroyed))

((we couldn't let you plunge us into a golden age this soon ;) ))
EDIT: ((does this mean the coup wins? Is gloa in charge now? Mrman promised me alot so I would like it better if we don't do anything drastic right now.))

You know Federick this reminds of your father's last days. I abandoned him to save my own hide. I will not abandon this cause like I abandoned your father. If I am to die, then I shall die fighting for a cause I believe in. My only consolation is that my wife and eldest son are safe in Bavaria. I hope my youngest stays safe Venice.

((Hehe. Now you are the new one. :p))

And you are a petty socialist upstart trying to compensate for his shame and that of his family by destroying absolutely everything Venezia holds dear whilst you weave your pathetic childish lies about poverty and heap insults on a class of people better than you out of an infantile jealously.

((I tried to infuse enough hatred and loathing into that as possible. And seeing as Alessandro is older, wealthier, more connected, and generally more powerful than you; and especially seeing as I was the first person to sign up for this AAR I'm never the new one. :D))
